Without being mean or anything, can anyone explain in plain English what exactly Mastercoin does?  It's worth a lot (~$26 a coin) but I can't get the idea behind it.  I'm wondering how it's worth so much?
On the other hand, people do not really understand how overpriced DOGE and LTC are compared to DRK (or how undervalued DRK is compared to DOGE and LTC).

If one reduced the number of DOGEs to the number of DRKs (something like a reverse stock split in which for every 18000 current DOGEs you'd get one new DOGE that would equal the prior 18.000 DOGEs), DOGEs would cost something like 8$ per DOGE... and then you have to ask: 8$...for what? Roll Eyes

If we do that with LTC, where only 4.3mn LTCs would exist, LTC goes something like 70$ per coin... and again the question is "for what?".

Answer. Inertia.
However, Dark's gravity is pulling more and more shibes and LTC regulars into its own gravitational orbit and is gaining mass.  Soon, noone will be able to prevent from being pulled to Dark as its mass will be too great to stay away from.

Also, folks.

Remember that the "last traded price" (the one that gets displayed on tickers etc), is a bit meaningless without taking into account liquidity as well.

For example, the price is now taking a dip back to the late 60's after a rapid rise. However 2000 DRK will still cost you an average of 0.007552 BTC and would push the "last traded" price up to 77.

Just sayin. Don't be spooked by corrections without having thinking caps on.

You can expect ymer any moment now announcing how he just dumped his entire stash ROFL
The stash that he dumped numerous times already at lower prices, because DRK was overpriced at the time.  Cheesy

I think the rise will end when the pumpers dump. Those buy walls are there for a reason. They were 155 and 153 respectively two days ago. I could be wrong but it just looks like a vert pump all over again and when the dump comes, it will be intense. Here's to hoping I'm wrong.

The reason you might be wrong is:

[1] - that this isn't a 'safe' "pump and dump" coin for dumpers. It is actually being bought on solid fundamentals which makes it far tighter on liquidity when there's a change in sentiment. If you watch the major dumps, they have all blown up in the dumpers face shortly afterwards as the market takes off again

[2] - it's been steadily rising for weeks. Lately, the pump and dump cycle has been getting ever faster - down to several hours for example for CINNI.

[3] - there have already been plenty of "tree shaking" moments lately. It lost nearly half it's value about 2 weeks ago and had a further few shocks since then. All of these tremors help to pack the price in

[4] - there is a certain market cap threshold which an asset can get to which gives it a stabilising inertia. Look at the top 7 or 8 coins on marketcap. They've been there since the dawn of man (well, of crypto alts at least Smiley ). That's because mass holding gives the asset a kind of market "rubber stamp" that secures its position and makes it very resistent to challenge - even from newer coins having major technological improvements. (Witness Litecoin. Almost every other coin out now is about 50 times more technologically advanced. It doesn't even do anything interesting except confirm a bit faster than Bitcoin. All the same - check its market cap compared to the nearest competitor).

On the other hand, of course, you may be right. No one can ever tell in this market. It's the wild west with some earthquake zones and a few untamed lions thrown in for good measure.

But we must keep our thinking hats on all the same and not just throw in the towel because there's too much turbulence to read the writing on the page. The writing's still there and pumpers and dumpers will definitely not have the last say on which technologies and assets emerge from all this intact.

I can't make any transactions.. just getting "transaction too large" error, what do I need to do to get this to work? (Sending less than my balance with a .1 fee)

If not answered lowering input.

LOL !!!!

I have just received info from my wallet when I wanted to send 1000 drk for new wallet address that the amount which I want to send it too large eeeee???

Any idea???

I have more than 1000 drk on wallet

http://scr.hu/1ame/bzjqk

There is a certain limit on clinet for purpose.

I recommend this.

1) make an temporal account
darkcoind getaccountaddress temporal
darkcoind getaddressesbyaccount temporal

2) send to temporal address
if error happens, lowering input, till no err.

3) check balance
darkcoind getbalance temporal

4) send from temporal to Masternode address
Code:
sendfrom [minconf=1] [comment] [comment-to]
darkcoind sendfrom temporal Masternode_address 1000

The dump will be in a few hours.
People buying now will lose atleast half their money if they hold.
Remember when there is a pump there is a dump.
Good luck.
I'll buy back at 0.01
Let me fix that for you Wink

There will be corrections of course, but I believe DRK is in the process of finding its true value considering its unique features.

Just for comparison purposes, if LTC and DOGE had their money supply adjusted for 4.3mn coins, they would cost 70$ and 8$ respectively (instead of 3$ of DRK). Goes to show how undervalued DRK is. That doesn't mean it must go to similar levels overnight, but fundamentals tend to win in the end.

You never know with DRK. Other coins I'd kind of agree. You have pumpers and real interest. It's a mad mix. Hoooold!
