You may be right of course, but I don't really think you are - Bitcoin has lost up to 90% of its value several times and it has always come back. Which still doesn't mean that you are not right in the end Smiley

Its only the beginning in saying that I truly believe that what will happen is sad. The government and banks know that the block chain is the future now to make it work for them they must tarnish its reputation. Western countries are clocking up massive debt with fiat for them to clean this mess up they can implement a change with digital currency sounds a little wild yes? people AGENDA that's righ to do this we shall tarnish then conquer by centralizing and telling everyone look what we have done cleaned up cryptocurrency it must be done in a way that the masses thought they were benefitting from such a great deal. I'm sorry to tell you but this is happening right now.

Told you so long ago to get the hell out.

People with financial sense have sold long ago - the price is now constantly going ever lower with only the "HODL'ers" being dumb enough to "buy the dip" - but the dips will just continue to get deeper and deeper.
I don't mind if bitcoin would continue to lose value in the next week or month. You are just over reacting to the current price I don't see bitcoin coming to an end though if you think it is then go sell yours. Also there's nothing dumb about holding because those people are the ones who truly believe in bitcoin sticking through ups and downs.

And, yes, in here people are desperately screaming "FUD" at anyone who are not 100% believers in their fantasy crypto money - but at the end of the day, it is only these dreamers who will be owning the fantasy money, and like old pokemon-cards only other collectors might want to buy a few of them at pennies on the dollar.
I am involved in bitcoin for some time now and i did not expect this price in the first place a year back and so it is not a very big deal to cry about the current market situation, just wait for the upgrades to be implemented and there is no stopping and that is the only thing i want to see in bitcoin, the scaling issues have to be sorted and i am sure it will be sorted, the price is secondary for me at the moment as i made a good profit with my investment and the rest i will be gladly holding for the long term.It is your choice to see this as a collectors edition,if you feel like that ,no one is forcing you. Holder's and Ivestor's of bitcoin until now is not affected by Bitcoin's decreasing price nowadays. They may just say that Bitcoin is probably gone.

And Bitcoin has a price until now and without it being lost and can recreat once a new price history in Crypto.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger
It dropped from $31 to $1, dropped from $1000 to $100, if it ever hits 50k and then drops to 5k, that would be even more dramatic but at the end of the day, a spectacular record-setting leap follows each dramatic dip. The reason for that is pretty simple - scarcity. In 2 weeks, Asian money will revive the market. Sellers in the meantime are the market-makers.

Can you please clarify what do you mean by "in 2 weeks"? Is there something good going on in the Asian side that I've missed? I've only heard some negative rumors regarding laws.

Dips are enviable in any market we all know the volatility of bitcoin and yes some might say it is going to continue to fall. Others will certainly continue to use it and even if whales are getting out now I'm sure as soon as it starts to climb again they will be back again to reinvest and so the circle will continue.

With all the publicity it gets and all the new people coming in, even though there are a few other coins more worthy of the 1st place, newbies will still buy the dips until they fill them and the price goes up.
Only when another coin pass even for a day the market cap of bitcoin I believe people will start jumping ship.

You don't have to be right in order to make money in trading, you only need to understand how the masses are thinking!  Wink (But when funds get in the equation, things get weird!)

I think it has potential to drop all the way down to 5K or even 4K but from there I think a lot of people will buy back in because of the low price. It'll keep dropping in price for sure but I believe it'll eventually turn and go back up. Then again who really knows.

I haven't been in btc long but this is the 80th time I've heard it's over. Don't give up, sure it could be the end but history shows it will bounce back. I wouldn't say buy right now but no reason to throw in the towel

It's a normal thing to see the market get a crazy crash , people with tons experience have anticipated something like this and those people who keep telling that bitcoin gonna die , disappeared etc are the one who feel so disappointed , expressing it through a frustrating words like that, not surprising at all. Since beginning bitcoin are a very risky business, remember to always use free money , always be patient, watch and learn . You might would remain to put hopes in bitcoin as a future economy system.

Leave no FUD unchallenged
Ah, another freightjoe thread.  Whether the price is $500 or $50000, whether people find utility in it or not, whether fiat in your own borders is depreciating to the point of worthless or not, you can always rely on freightjoe to tell you it's all a complete waste of time and you should basically just give up and be done with it all.

Also, what are you doing here in bitcointalk if all you do is spread unnecessary negativity anyway?

I don't know what he tries to achieve with the spreading of such information all over. Its time like this people try to show they are expert saying we told you this, we told you that when everyone knows what is really going on. And the moment the price take a positive turn, they are quick to change tone and sometimes because of the inability to accept they are wrong, they still continue to being pessimistic by issuing several warnings.

Irrespective of how price turned to what it is today, its still an achievement over where we were this time last year. A lot of holders that he is referring to who bought this time last year and decide to sell today at the current price are still making massive profit that only bitcoin can turn out for a common man. If you would jump the ship, series of people are ready to take your place.

Crypto is WAY more legit than government money.  Governments can print endless amount of money any tim ethey want.  Bankers are lending out money that does not even exist and they do not have.  It's called fractional banking and is a straight scam.

CRYPTO HAS MORE INTEGRITY THAN GOVERNMENT MONEY.  If anything the government money is the fake toy money.  It used to be backed by gold but now it is worthless nothing,.

this is called the saturation period, often occurs also in Forex, where the price is deliberately lowered for investors interested again to buy the asset, believe me, the price of Bitcoin will rise again..

The only basis of your point that bitcoin is coming to an end is because the price is going down. That is very shallow on my point of view. We have been in this road before, the price goes up and down, it is scary but that is how market works. All great companies suffers from time to time, their stocks goes down but in the end, things get fixed and it recovers.

The same is with bitcoin. It have some issues and the price suffers, but it does not mean that it is the end of the road for bitcoin. It just shows that something needs to be fixed. I believe the devs are working on it. The issues should be addressed soon.

People with financial sense have sold long ago
So what do you call those who invested from the beginning, hodl and made x1000 profits from bitcoin?

Told you so long ago to get the hell out.

If you are one of those people who do not like bitcoin then you should sell your bitcoin to leave the forum, but the incredible thing is that you stay on the forum and encourage people to sell their coins and you do not show proof that it is dangerous invest in bitcoin.

People with financial sense have sold long ago - the price is now constantly going ever lower with only the "HODL'ers" being dumb enough to "buy the dip" - but the dips will just continue to get deeper and deeper.

Let people do whatever they want with their money, if you do not like bitcoin then do not buy bitcoin.

Did you buy any bitcoin? Did you lose any bitcoin? Have you already made trade?
