I greet everyone for the house including our senior men dem, Op you raised a good conversation that is very important for the growth of the local board members, which I know that our senior men dem here are aware of, but identifying yourself here is a good movement in the right direction, I Believe why this board is created is for Naija forum members to know themselves and discuss the issues and progress of our dear country as they are, and try our possible best to make contributions that will be useful in the aspect of bitcoin, senior man Charles-Tim I took what you said as an advice, because we need to make our local board very functional, and is by being very active here, but I must say that we shouldn't make an issue out of nothing, both the op and Charles-Tim points is good and that shouldn't call for any exchange of words.

But wait oh.. Why is it that when people tell someone the truth, they get angry? Please, because I go like someone to tell me why oh? Because can you @ O.P point just one statement which Charles Tim said that is false (i.e I mean just only one). Because truly for this forum, he sabi pass you by far, he has been here for many years & you are just few months old here. So the attack you just made was not necessary my guy. Because I swear to God if someone had told me earlier before now that you are a Nigerian, I no for believe, because from your post history, it shows no sign of you being a Nigerian, which if someone had pointed that out, it's left for you to have accepted the fact and try to improve next time by making yourself known among your brothers & sisters, than arguing. Because base on this, I just made small digging into your account now and saw that you made just only 3 post since January till this date on Naija local board (i.e 2 in January & 1 in February) and that was the end until this very moment, as shown below,


So abeg, what we need here is a united Naija local board, and as such, let's not forget to give respect to whom respect is due, because if not for senior men like Brainboss, Igebotz and Charles Tim, I no dey sure say we for get this small spot wey we fit call our own for this forum, and they deserves our maximum respect. That's true, even if someone is an elderly person outside this forum doesn't give the person the right to disrespect the higher members because in this forum our higher members is elders and mentors so we the Junior once should learnt to respect them also they said respect is a reciprocal for those who respect themselves, so I also plead on the higher members not to use his Rank to intimidate the lower members because my only definition of local board is the unity and togetherness that makes us a whole.

This is a local board; our culture and traditions must be honored. Slander against older members will not be tolerated. In our communities, we respect our elderly, and the same must be maintained here. A member with a higher rank than you is your elder and must be respected, and the same respect must be shown to the younger members.

Criticism is allowed BUT must be backed with obvious facts.

Abeg make una calm down e never reach that level abeg we still be one family no need to dey attack each others. Dey don vote about dis matter before and people agree make we dey use English and pidgin, so it’s left for everyone to choose anyone wey u think say e dey easy to use for u, anybody wey post In English and u no understand, make u ask d person or d other members make dem interpret am to pidgin for u, u no fit force anybody make dem dey use one particular language since dey don vote and conclude about am before.

@CryptopreneurBrainboss no be the assigned merit source for this board but him dey among the generous oga them for we local board wey just decide to help other members with merits at free will. See am as he talk


Na e make other of our other oga them like Charles-Tim, Igebotz de try apply for merit source so we go get our own merit source for here and so merit no go too dey scares for our Nija board. If you observe some other local board, them members dey always get merit Wella because Dem get merit source. The other way too be say we fit help our self, no be only meirt source go fit help. If you come across any post wey make sense Wella and u know say e deserve merit just drop if at all, this one go help that person motivate am to do more better for we local board.


As of this issue of pidgin or English, Dem don first settle am for before @Onyeeze. our people dem dey fit speak both English join pidgin sometimes sef we fit mix the two. As long as you dey understand watin the person the relate that wan no fit be issue na. Sometime e fit get thread wey person go wan make and to am pidgin no go sharp so e go decide to leave am for English. And if some people wan reply them go also love to use English. So e go depend on their choice.

I will even like it if I can see some whites or non Nigerians that give me merit, it means they still gain from me even as I am posting in Nigeria local board.

I am disappointed you can come on this local board about non useful discussion and yet you do not have up to 6 posts on this local board since January 2023 that you registered this account.

Weti you dey tok e correct oo but make I ask you one small question and please answer-am. Weti be Pidgin English? If you get am well then you go know say Pidgin English is nothing but is the combination of native language and British English. We don't have National Language so we use the broken language and the standard English language. And in the forum here, no be everybody go fit use the Pidgin English so those we no fit use fluently can use English to communicate with others.

And dis matter wey bring so, we Don tok am for last month in dis local board and di na di thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/can-a-unified-language-solve-nigerias-problem-of-tribalism-5464225 you can go there and make your comment too. We dey help ourselves by educating one another. And if you want to grow in the forum make you dey post better better things so dat u go dey grow like beans. No come compare us with Brainboss. Im dey do im part and others sef dey do their best so na so di matter just be. Make u dey hustle well so dat u go grow.

If I go understand you correctly as you mentioned brainboss, na him be the only merits source we get for we local board and from our understanding e be like say na only locals him fit dey give merits than any other sections for the forum since him merits na for localboard. Apart from that whom do we expect to help us grow where every body dey hustle from outside, the person wey I know say for give us lifting hands for be Charles-Tim but him no be merits source. Then next generous giver na Igebotz na him dey act like merits source but him no be anyone but has assisted lots of people than any other person here, so I go dey in full support make Theymos approved him application to help people grow small. Na only Igebotz and brainboss be the only generous giver the rest people no even reason anybody here rather them prefer giving another follow higher rank member than giving people wey dey we local board.

But anyhow if you dey finid difficulty for merits, I go refer you go hugeblack merits thread where him say make you post any link of your post and another person own for local board wey you know say supposed get merits wey never get merits I believe say that one too go help you as well.

When i dey read some people post the thing dey sound me like sey Dem they speak correct English but this our local board na pidgin English wey dey us talk here, make our people dey use pigeon dey talk here so that wey from naija go dey understand weitin we dey cap well well, if we wan use english talk, some oyibo dey read wetin we dey talk and some of Dem dey no watsup when we talk, so is good make we make sure sey the tins we talk e plenty for our pidgin pass the one wey we use corit English talk, this Tori wey I come tell my brother's and sisters wey dey there. Another tin wey dey important we wey b naija people suppose dey do, na to help our country people make dem grow becuz na una people go still help dem to grow, we no go expect make person wey from another country dey carry una brothers and sisters along, make una dey try dey show love the wey brainboss dey show people love for the community, make una know sey injury to one is injury to all, and when we urinate together it will come outside foam.
