I think it’s Ten Hag trying to stamp his authority & be the big man at Man Utd. Let’s be honest, Ronaldo is bigger than him in the game & has achieved so much more. Ten Hag is trying to assert power & show he is top dog.

I hope Ronaldo leaves in January & goes on to have a great season. He deserves much more respect, he still has a lot to offer.

I think the biggest mistake Ronaldo made at the start of the season was to stay at Manchester United. He's getting older now and although he has been a legend in the past, it is certain that he will remain a substitute at this club or be taken out of the game early. He's having trouble getting into the team. I think the last interview he gave was over the top. He will most likely leave the team during the interim transfer window. If he is going to continue football, he should be transferred to easier leagues. I think the Portuguese, Dutch, Turkish and German leagues are suitable leagues for him.
He has been predicting if he will be getting the golden time again with MU but his prediction was actually wrong caused by the current coach was not sir alex ferguson. The atmosphere in the club didn't meet his expectation and so he was frustating with the situation in the club. Last interview has been explaining whole of his problems in the club. I has prepared everything for that interview. I guess that will be so hard for him caused by he has so many golden moments with MU but situation in the club forced him to do that. I cna't blame him for his interview.

yes i agree with you, everyone knows the english league is very competitive, and ronaldo doesn't realize that maybe he is at the end of his career and can't be as competitive as when he first joined, even though ronaldo wanted him a lot in Manchester to be able to increase his level but he didn't realize that a players have a limit to continuing at the highest level of football, and maybe MLS is suitable to end Ronaldo's career

I think he is overestimating his current worth and performance. The coach has the right to drop players that are underperforming and sadly Ronaldo fall in that category. He should learn from Messi and Neymar that nobody can be above his employer. The best option for him now is to leave Manchester United and retire somewhere else.

It seemed that he felt that he still had such a good physique that he became unconscious of his current state. If he stays like this it will make him bad at his retirement age. Indeed the last resort he had to go, it was already evident his picture in the stadium had been taken off it was a sign he had to go.

But when comparing messi and neymar, their age is still young if physically they are still better than Ronaldo. But when it comes to manners, of course, their relationship with PSG needs to be modeled. Maybe at the moment Ronaldo is just frustrated and can't keep up with the EPL's fast game. Maybe if he were in another League it would be a different storyline.  Grin

Ten Tag has no right to treat Ronaldo in such a disrespectful way. Ronaldo's poor performance this season is a direct result of the manager's unfair treatment of him. He views Ronaldo as a team problem. However, before the arrival of Ronaldo, UTD hadn't won games or had played well. Ronaldo arrived to aid the team, but everything worked against him.

As a fan of Man UTD, I'll miss him. The happiness he brought to Man UTD was unlike anything else, so seeing him leave in this way really hurt.

Ronaldo should end his career on a high note, in my opinion.
Ronaldo was the one that disrespected the club first. He still had a year left in his contract yet he was pushing for his departure from the club because he just wanted to play in the Champions league. Every coach would not be happy with such behavior because it shows that the player considers his interest more than the clubs goal. His outburst in this interview is uncalled for because he was part of the problem the club was facing. And the most annoying part of it was that he blamed the coach and the management and didn't blame himself, that's selfish.

Christiano Ronaldo might be one of the G.O.A.Ts in modern day football but nobody is bigger than the team(and the club as a whole).
He can criticize whoever he wants. He can criticize Manchester United owners, if he wants. Expressing an opinion isn't wrong by itself.
The problem is that Ronaldo thinks that he is as big as Manchester United. He obviously doesn't want to solve his personal issues with Ten Hag and he doesn't want to solve his issues with his teammates. Maybe it's time for him to leave United and finish his career in the USA. He doesn't add any value to this team anymore.

If 10 people are asked where Portugal is on the world map, 9 out of 10 people will show the country's position thanks to Ronaldo. Shame on the players who acted against Ronaldo in the Portuguese national team, especially Manchester United, after giving this example. What is this attitude of Bruno Fernandes? You have no right to react to a football player who has successfully represented your country for years. If Manchester plays such a football, Bruno is among those responsible for it. After seeing such behavior, I will no longer support MANU, which I have supported for years. No one can do this to a football player who has become a world legend.

Man United downfall began some years ago and Cr7 just said how things are and always have been with United. It's my favorite club from EPL but I've stopped being a hardcore fan after they sacked Ole so I don't see any bright future for United. Also CR7 is mega right about young players and their training system because they only care about having a great haircut , driving the best car on market , having the best girl in the club and 0 performance on the club. If this is the model United wants to follow ...then I don't care anymore. They could simply go to Championship and stay a couple of years there.

The best footballer in the world must have had strong reasons to say what he said. At his level he should be respected by his fellow teammates and the coaching team, he is clearly not happy there
He has been fully explaining the potential reaosn why he was getting disrespect by the club and coach. The media was also getting surprised with what he was saying about that. I see that if ronaldo has been frustating with his situation in united. That's why he was making such decision to say everything in the public. I think that ronaldo just wanna try to tell the truth about what happened with him. I guess manchester united especially ten haag didn't even try to be honest to the public

Ten Hag started the season games, the two first ones which he lost in a clamorous way without Ronaldo being part of the team and of course this has created a great discontent from Ronaldo side. After such games Manchester United started the recovery and even won against some strong teams like Liverpool and Arsenal and despite that Ten Hag didn't care much about Ronaldo because he saw the team can function without him.Such facts inevitably brought Ronaldo to this interview and I think most likely he will not return to Old Trafford after 31 January and most likely can go to a new club don't know which but Chelsea for me should take profit of this situation and get him,he is still a great player despite his age.

Or is there a platform that also makes bets regarding who will win in the gap between Ronaldo and his club?
I don't find it so far, or the right bet in this case would be,
1. Will Ronaldo return to Old Trafford after the World Cup?
2. What is the next club for Ronaldo to play?
3. What is the appropriate transfer value for him?
this is just a joke

why would anyone create a thread which I see leans more toward rumors and gossip about player news? I mean this is a thread to discuss gambling, I don't even see the connection between these players and the people having to do with gambling being discussed.
Or is there a platform that also makes bets regarding who will win in the gap between Ronaldo and his club?

Man Utd have reacted to Ronaldo's interview with Piers Morgan by issuing a press release. The club are keeping their cards close to their chest for now
These guys are lying through their teeth, don't take their word for it! For your information, United are taking a silent reaction on the lad's actions, for example, the Ronaldo banner has been pulled down which tells you how much their ego has been bruised and can't all be a coincidence unfortunately.

Check short video clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1gPAC-ijfk

but reports have suggested that they are extremely unhappy with the situation.
Why shouldn't they be and him going for the Glazers with uncensored truth, they should be fuming about the situation.

But in all honesty, the interview didn't go as bad as it sounded but am waiting for Piers Morgan's part 2 interview today to weigh in on the damage caused otherwise it looks like the media painting CR7 as the bad guy here Roll Eyes.

Other players wants to be in the spotlight, it shouldn't be all about CR7.
To win a game you have to play as a team not to one player out of 11 players on the squad, that's why he had to struggle to get goals on his own.
In fact, Ronaldo getting old, so we are not to worry about whatever he said. He can't play and can't create a score again, his run is going slowly, his movement is not fast anymore, he going not popular in football because of those facts he tries to make sensational news about him and his club. he tries to be persecuted person, and try to make sympathy people.

Really? Ronaldo is not just a nobody. This man is the man, they can't just throw away a player who can make a team win all because others also want to be on the spotlight. Everyone has to be part of the team and play as a team. But if they are pulling each other down, there really is something wrong in the club making members anxious.

Internal conflicts between players and managers will continue to roll. I think this is nothing new. We see that CR7 also gets a little time to play in every game. CR7 is not the type of player who is ready to be used as a collection on the reserve table.
We know that CR7 is not able to play more freely as in Madrid. At Madrid he gets more passes so that CR7 creates more goals, while at MU it seems as if CR7 is fighting alone to get goals.
It is true that internal conflicts are part of the game, especially when we are talking about persons with such a huge ego, however it is a completely different thing to actually express those misgiving on an interview and make the claims that Ronaldo made, there is simply no way he is going to remain in the team after that, and if he does I do not see him getting any time on the field at all, so he will have no other choice but to leave as I doubt he is ready to remain on the bench for so long.

It normal to players and managers to have issues, at Madrid things wasn't the way they are now at UTD.
Ronaldo can't get that joy he had at Madrid here in Man UTD, he's allergic to losing and not scoring. When other players don't play to his rythme it becomes a problem.
