It is true, as many newbies entered the market during the last year`s hype and after it we are having bear market for 7 monts. Many of them has already lost their interest and it is too much for their nerves and leaving the market.
Market manipulators are shaking their hands but the hard core will survive as only weak hands are leaving.

Let them go with their FUD, then when the market is going up again, they will come back for fear of not taking advantage of this opportunity, they will buy again in ATH and then they will complain when the bubble burst again, the market is cyclical thanks to those people who can not stand the pressure of their investment and decide to sell at the worst possible time.

I hold altcoins before now and recently looking at my wallet is just heart breaking, I have sold off some tokens to cut my losses while I an still holding some and hoping they go up later

I don't think they are leaving the market. Most of them are going in BTC as can be seen from the BTC dominance going up in the last few weeks.
Also, alts became too many, probably 3000+, so a lot of them will fail, so quiting makes some sense from the biggest crap alts.

They are not leaving the crypto or the market, they are leaving altcoins and that is pretty diffrent. They are selling their altcoins and buying Bitcoins because they think that Bitcoin has better and more certain future and they are right, Bitcoin is currently the most safest investment in cryptomarket

I do not think selling holdings and leaving this market is good idea. It is not advisable. People will regrets when market will go up and normal. People needs to be patient when they are in crypto market.

No, actually they are doing short term trading. Big players in the market are doing that so some people might feel that we are losing so much money in the market. When you thought the whales have left, the truth is that they really know how this game is played and they are doing back to back buy and sell in the past months.

It was supposed to happen .many if the new investors came in during the but run earlier this year and they waited patiently hoping but the market is still going down.I guess that's their patience limit .
