So many coins in market and most of ico got success, so some bad member creating coins for scam. and its really hard to say which coins are scam.
The decreasing crypto market is a disadvantage to ICO. Although good ICOS can still exist the price is not high. I have always believed in the ICO and believe that the crypto market will recover soon.
Many project are dead because dropping price by bitcoin and ethereum, many project ico using etehreum for the payment and they have bought ico at higher price of eth, but now eth have drop and make ico price after listing at the market is drop.
I also noticed lot of dead projects. It seems like crypto becoming more popular for cheating and scamming people. Unfortunately there is no useful tool for preventing,dont trust even ICO rating sources
Yes, it's hard to digest but it's true. Now many projects have dead and other have going to die because of the current market situation. The market is consistently falling down. When the market recovers that time the projects will again going to become successful.
It is fact mostly projects are dead or going to dead, reason is market is in blood bath bitcoin is in still correction mode & not stable yet.

Meanwhile there are project that paused or failed it is because of the market condition. some are didn't take risk some are secure thier projects so they abort it.
A lot of crypto projects, as it turned out, were scam projects. All this had a very negative effect on the crypto market, many investors lost a lot of money and left the market.
The same is true with outside companies, such as mining or groceries for households.
If the altcoins do not have full support from the buyer / consumer, the altcoin will be destroyed.

That`s the harsh reality. And it is true that many projects are dead. But it is okay, because any sartup can meet business problems or face the lack of interest. Sometimes, society is doesnt even ready for their product, but it will have demand in the future.
Most of them are doomed to die, there is no real project behind them just somebody is shilling this coins and they are collecting million dollars. After that there is nothing I still don't see a beautiful working project, so they die in a few months.
As you can see, most projects have died or disappeared because they are just to swindle money! If I can invest in real projects, then I will save their tokens!
i think yes, project using ethereum platform in 2018 many project dead or scam with following the price of ethereum more down in this last year
Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?
Just because of huge amount of dead products investor consider that whole market is dead, which means that now is perfect time for huge cleanup.
maybe some people will feel their trust is lost on the coins they invest, because now the crypto market situation is even getting worse and crypto prices are actually decreasing drastically, and that makes the investment people too risky because of the market conditions. unstable and uncertain whether to experience recovery or not because the market has been deteriorating for several months now the market has not yet recovered, and also whether there is still a possibility for the market to experience recovery or not.
Yes in crypto market it's not easy to grow your project,many of project are really not good and they are suffering many difficulties so before investment choose good project.
For me , It depends on project that you participate in , if your projects is potential , you should hold it for a long time or you think it will can't be potential for future , you should sell it soon .

Yes, you right there are many dead and scam project right now, that is why we need to be careful in investing in one specific project, just take a time to check first its team, website and a like if you want to invest there to earn money in the future.
for people who really work in the crypto world, of course this makes traders and investors feel difficult and even disappointed. because there are so many scam projects that make us lose money and waste our time in vain. our accuracy in seeing the team and others does not necessarily make us avoid the scam project. the most important thing is never to despair and keep up the spirit. 
many projects are dead since day 1, and a lot are able to spin the market for a while. thanks to exchanges that are listing anything that pays listing fee
