Many projects are dead and many project are alive as well! Cryptocurrency is maturing and it will get to a point where only the best quality cryptocutrency project will survive and thrive!

I agree with Awoben to a degree. If the community ignored some of the more obvious scams and invested in better projects, this wouldnt happen though. The money is spread too thin.

I want to believe the bearish market contributed to the death of some projects,  most people had to move their funds out of projects they don't have full trust in back to BTC and top altcoins.  In my view it is good for the cryptocurrency space to purge all shitcoins out of its system.

I think that the main reason that many of the ico projects do not reach their goals is bear market trend . As soon as the market goes up the situation will change.

Even successful projects don't last long, most projects have extraordinary ambitions in real life. But all of that isn't entirely real. In the end, all only competed in the market. Their products are limited to trading, don't really function in reality as their target.

Maybe some are really implemented (in their home country)

If the project is not actively marketing, does not mean that he is dead. Now many projects keep the news until a better time, as now (in the bear market) it is pointless to actively promote, as it does not affect the cost.

really a lot of projects unfortunately are already dead and I, like you, the author, think that they need to be removed from the list

Yes. Many projects died and it is the truth. I think it only the beginning of the end and projects will die every day soon.

There are many factors that can cause a project to fail:
1) The team behind the project is not that adequate team and does not have the experience needed to run an ICO or the altcoin itself.
2) The project did start as a fun thing and it was not planned that it would go so good (like TRON) and then they started to think that hey we should be serious now.
And many other factor that I can't think of them as there are a lot.

I have seen 80 percent of ICOs are fraudulent and 10 percent have no substance and fail immediately after raising money. Most of the remaining 10 percent may fail too.

Yes that is correct many projects are not yet developed or we don't know exactly what they are cooking or stage they are now or are they dead already. This is the same in the actual business, many people is entering into a business with a good business idea but after few months they close down. We can't really tell what will happen, it's true in our current business structure and the same with ICO's or crypto related projects.

It takes some years to see a good project mature. The expectation was way too high and reality is proving to be very different.

This is a sad issue for the industry as many projects keep dying out at coin market cap, the question is, where is the team that raised the money? Also, where is the money that they raised? All these make blockchain look like we have a lot of criminals in here who will just come out with a nice plan as a way of duping people for their hard earned money. We need a strong body that will be able to take this kind of people on if they fail to deliver what they have promised to give to their investors. This kind of behavior more looks like stealing from the investors and need to be addressed immediately.

Yes, the market is getting better at the fittest. This is very normal. To know that cryptocurrencies are growing, some coins will only affect the growth of Bitcoin.

Indeed, there are now many projects that are not well developed, I don't know if they might lack investors or teams that are less active in working on their projects, in the success of a team, of course the team is also influential, if you are going to invest in ico you must be good at choosing ico that has good potential
I think it should be like during the election campaign: losers endorsing leaders. These people who are working on bad coins should cooperate with the market leaders and drop their own projects for everyone's good.

Everyone expect ICO project   to  fail , even though  no one force us to invest in any project. Invest only you can afford to lose, so when the result are unpleasant you can take it lightly. I am still optimistic that cryptocurrency will become very successful in future.

Only this year was held a huge number of ICO, among which only a few were non-fraudulent. If we take into account the factor that a large number of projects are also made only to have time to run into the car of the departing train and make money, then we are a couple of years I think we will see only a couple of hundred projects that can survive.

I must agree with that - many projects are dead already and many are slowly dying but it is normal for such crazy market as crypto, but also many new projects are coming every day ,so life goes on and crypto will hopefully live long.
