Yes, many projects are dead because of weak teams, which cant able to create the product of which they have collected the funds from investors.
Thats the fault of the team, most of them not failed created the product. But they release the token/coin before the product actualy release. Thats why the coin/token need time to get backup.

I think this is because some projects, that were scam, saw the beginning of the bear market and decided to stop their activity to not lose more money. Also people now lost faith in crypto and are not investing in new projects.

Most of ICO projects are dead or nearly dead but bear market is not a main reason of that.
Now, we can clearly see that people behind these projects never wanted to make something great of the ideas behind the whole ICO.

As project become irrelevant,  new project will spring up and replace irrelevant project. Decentralisation give equal access to everyone and anyone can pursue a project to completion on blockchain!

I think yes. But, most part of dead projects are scams, that's all. So, the 80% of those projects are scams. Investors just should be more selectly now, for their safe.

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?

Yes, many project gets dead because the ICO gets failed to reach the soft cap. Also i didn't invest on some projects that i think it will be failed or scam. I hope that all the ICO's will be successful so that the investors will attract to all ICO's and in to cryptocurrency.

Dead projects are mostly projects that are no longer of interest to investors. Developers can not liquidate when traders want to sell them. This leads to many projects dead, and the number is increasing.

May be, because some very genuine projects with promising coin growth are also available in the market. We have to be careful from the projects that are trying to trap innocent people.
Yes, it is good thing when a scam projects dies. I feel for greedy uncontrolled people but this has to stop somewhere. And good projects can't die because people need good products and they deliver good products.

yes, they are a lot of projects that are dead, even after the ico was finished they left their project already..
It's such a shame that they give hope to many newbies and people entrust their time and money to them and they fail them. Bad projects should die out.

Many dead projects are caused by almost the same factors. The drastic decline and also the length of the decline period made the condition of the project slumped and difficulties in marketing its products. In addition, there are many projects that are motivated by teams that are less reliable and are still new to Crypto. So they have difficulty adjusting their performance to the current crypto conditions.
yes maybe because of that and many dead projects caused by various problems. then you must be more careful in choosing a project, because every project is not necessarily successful and there must be a project that fails. Choose a good ICO, first check whether the team has an achievement or not and see which ICO coins are based on which platform? especially you have to find out more details to avoid failure.

Now it is very dangerous to invest in ICO projects. This is primarily due to the presence of many fraudulent ICO projects, which are already quite difficult to distinguish from real ones, as well as the current poor state of the cryptocurrency market, in which even promising ICO projects cannot collect even the minimum amount through investor passivity. Even many bounty hunters are wondering if it is worth joining ICO's bounty campaigns in this market condition.

indeed many projects die when the bear market occurs.
I think the alt coin that survives in the bear market will now have good value in the future.
I think it's better to invest only in bitcoin for a long time.

I still don't understand why there are many projects. maybe everyone is competing to create a place in the world of cryptocurrency.
but it's okay. maybe of the many cryptocurrency and projects, later we will see which is most beneficial for many people.
natural selection and hard work of each developer.

There are many projects because there are people who thinks that what they have in mind is better than what is available at hand. Its a competition too. However, what other see is an easy money scheme by duplicating someones project and add some changes or improvements, ask someone to promote and wait for the money to start coming in. After a few months they will abandon the project and move to another one.
well, maybe they just aim to get a lot of money. sometimes many projects like that. a very good project, even it has entered the market, but some of the CEOs are again doing fraud. well, of course that makes the project die. well, there have been many things like that happening.

My take is the opposite. I’m shocked that there are next to no Bitcoin community projects. All people do now is sell ICO tokens. The community (outside of the Core dev team) has basically stopped developing things for Bitcoin’s blockchain as everyone chases easy money by fleecing ICO investors.
