Cryptocurrencies today have such a trait, but I think that there are projects that are no longer being developed, so I probably will not deny it, but you should understand that cryptocurrency today has a serious interest among people.

the current situation really makes us sad. because of the growing development of crypto, there are also many who abuse it like many who make projects, but the project is a scam. things like this are what makes us sad.

To my regret like 30% of coins listed on coinmarket cap are dead projects with low volume or 0 volume.
Also there is a problem that some projects use bots to grow volume in order to be listed on CMC

Investment must take risks. But before investing you should learn about the project! It can help you a lot. Do not invest when you do not understand anything about it!

personally i think their proggres didnt running well, i mean after some project finished gain crowdfund from ico, then they continue their develop project and face a big problem or all they planning didnt go well so they loss the money then leave the project dead with the money from investor, i think maybe it can happen due to bad market condition nowadays.

Many project are dead just because the condition market is not stable now.  Bitcoin is drop and many altcoin drop too. Many ico fail just because investor more choose to invest in market than ico because many ico scam. This condition will be back like last year if bitcoin can recover.

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?

It still depends at the beginning you should trust the coin that you are investing but if you saw that there is neglect in the part of the developers then it's time for you to do an exist or sell your coins or you will be the one to be late in selling and lose your investment, this is the reason it's important to follow the development of the ICO you've invested in.

In my opinion, there will be many projects that have died or failed at an early stage. And if this lasts, it will be much more dangerous. Now i do not know where to start because i am being so confused.

Sometimes there are some cases that a project died or disappeared or just become inactive but become alive again and I think this is both a good news and bad news to all of its investors.

Many projects failed due to lack of commitment and transparency in carrying out the process, so many investors were disappointed in the project and moved to another project. Other factors are also caused by their brilliant strategy in developing the whitepaper they make, but the way they realize it is inversely proportional to that. Obviously, this is something that investors really hate because they talk more than do it.
You must have an individual approach to each specific project that you cannot generalize. So that you do not lose money, you need to choose the right projects.

Projects are dying because there was no investors dare to gamble their money in this current bad market. This might the main reason why the market are so bad and make lot of projects come down and dying. Even worst some of the projects dying before it start.

Right now it's getting really hard to find a good project and even if I want to invest in something then I will search for one that already release mvp or demo because that shows the team determination to run the project. I've seen enough project that doesn't release their platform 1 year after their ico end so the failure rate is definitely high in crypto, short term profit doesn't work anymore in this bear market so long term project with great fundamental is the way to go.

We all have similar problems. I think that it is necessary to draw conclusions, and not to sit and wait for everything to come to life. This is an illusion. Many projects will never rise from a deep bottom. We should not be afraid to periodically change the composition of our portfolio.

There can be a lot of reason why there are a lot of reason why the certain project has ended or died it is because of the community that do not support it and also the funds is not a lot that can support it these are what i think what commom to them

Data from the Coinopsy and Dead Coins sites, which observe the picture of the crypto-currency market and track information about the participants, about 1000 crypto-currency projects are dead.

There are many projects that are unsuccessful when developed at the end of 2017.
Some projects are not supported by the community or deliberately deceived

That's right, I saw a lot of project projects that have been developing for a long time with poor results and making huge losses from people who have participated.

Surely, most of the projects are already dead or otherwise destined to die in the short run.
On the other hand, natural selection is a universal law, so - after this period of suffering - there will be a group of valid coins that will be able to overcome difficulties.
The important thing is to understand what they are ...

For long holding I keep only coins with active development and strong  use case, otherwise the value of the coin can go to near to zero on a declining market. Investing only small percentage of the portfolio into them as it is very risky.
