In recent times, it has started to coin quite a lot for marijuana
The competition environment was much higher.
Competition is there to make the real good projects stand out
Busy day at the office.
"Chop Chop"
Looks decent, although I've seen pics with better looking buds as well. I sincerely hope this project works out because there is a REAL need for something like this in the US (likely other countries as well)! Currently, marijuana is legal for recreational use in some US States, although US Federal law still determines that it is illegal for recreational use. The States which have passed laws allowing recreational use have the same dispensaries which were supplying marijuana for medicinal use. With both medical and recreational users, the dispensaries saw HUGE spikes in sales creating businesses with HUGE profits!
What to do with all of that cash from so many new sales thanks to the US States which legalized marijuana for recreational use? This sounds like a very simple answer, but it's NOT! Banks in the US must be Federally insured to protect their customers, and therefore they must comply with all of the rules/regulations set forth by the Federal Government.
This is why Banks in the US will have NOTHING to do with ANY money related to the sales of marijuana for recreational use - although recreational use is "legal" in some US States, it is still "illegal" according to the US Federal Government (although the Feds have told local law enforcement in States where marijuana is legal for recreation they will basically "look the other way" when it comes to criminal enforcement), US Banks still REFUSE their services for any money related to the marijuana business (regardless of US Statewide legality).
Consequently, the marijuana business now faces several problems derived from not being able to utilize the US Banking system. It has turned into a cash only business, leaving dispensaries susceptible to burglary because they are [forced] into sitting on large sums of it. Accounting, commerce, & payroll all become obvious problems (not to mention many others) as well!
Having a coin with an open ledger dedicated explicitly to the marijuana industry could fix these problems & consequently be of tremendous value one day. Personally, I am almost certain we will see 1-3 of these "coins" be an industry standard in the future! The only question - which one will it be?
