Is anybody else having troubles with Bitfinex at the moment?

After crashing I am unable to connect to Bitfinex. Bitrex works as normal.

Bitfinex site is available from my PC

Two things that may be relevant.

If I start Bitrex first and than try to add Bitfinex as another market nothing seems to happen. The little icon in the top left corner just keeps spinning forever.

I also can't start Bitfinex from the Leonardo start screen. The login button is greyed out.

I never choose restart last session because it never works for me.

(edit) Now working. Please ignore

Bitstamp exchange has added Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and three new pairs.

We added the new pairs to leonArdo a few days ago so please download the latest version to be able to trade with them.

I just noticed that our data collection was collecting for them so we will try to fix that now.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Hi all,

I'm currently running the Leonardo DEMO on Bittrex, and this it is doing good.
But can anyone please explain me why the mArgin bot hasn't followed the curve up ?

I its working brilliant within the set area, but as soon as the curve rises it doesn't follow. (I know i should use negavtive min.eff.gain in order for it to follow downtrends)

..for following the ups and downs, wait a few days for the new bots coming.
Like Bollinger bands bot. Wink

The tale of two pair over two weeks.

Having survived two sets of in-laws over the Thanksgiving weekend it was finally my turn to kickback.  BTC was having a bumper week and I had been trying to decide what I might do with some of it immediately, before the market took it back. I would not spend much of course but enough that I could feel the enjoyment of the gain. So I decided to upgrade to leonArdo Ultra.

In between roasting a turkey and watching videos I managed to generate new keys at Poloniex, since I already had the upgrade link it was a simple task to fill it out, send the BTC to the address. In a few short hours I received the download link so I knew my key was compiled in and I was ready to go.

Two days of dosing myself with the tryptophan from the turkeys had taken its toll. Not wanting to feel like I was wasting anyone’s time or money and too lazy to get overly involved I decided fire up a couple of pair on Poloniex. I picked two small to micro cap pair that had been running statistically better over the preceding three week period. STR and VTC.

Since I had pulled the $89 from my anonymous wallet to buy the Ultra upgrade and I keep a running balance of my bank and my exchange money so I know just how much leonArdo is pumping in and not just  BTC fluctuation I sent $93 from the other exchange to Poloniex, simple enough.

Wanting to minimize involvement for that weekend I was going to set up 4 pair starting at $15 each. Well I never made it that far. But what I did do was set up STR and VTC with exactly the same amount of money $15 and exactly the same strategies except for the statistics interval because each coin has its own frequency.
Here goes:
Trading window 25% and 25% for 50.
Min effective gain “-50%” I just wanted it to run no matter what.
Max Order age .03
Bot can change trading amount
-everything else was turned off, no stop loss nothing!
STR Statistics Interval 6.32 hours
VTC Statistics Interval 6.07 hours

There were two outages in the last two week period, the same day I set things up I set the server date wrong and Poloniex blocked my keys, but 18 hours later it allowed them to run again. The other was for upgrading to the server at the same time making major revisions to another exchange running on that server. While I do keep a ledger multiple times a day there was very little intervention. I just remembered, after a couple of days I had backed down the usable amount for each coin to 90% of what I had, so I was no longer playing 100% that I started with (the original $15).

My first ledger entry Polo 0.00475624 (funds) 22:34 2017-11-26 after two pair were setup at $15 each. My thoughts were this could disappear it seemed so small. But wait, after two weeks something astonishing happened. And this garden was not well tended!

This morning the 96th transaction had taken place.  Started with $93 USD
There was 0.00742045 in funds. $121.81
STR I am holding is worth $49.07
VTC I am holding is worth $24.72
=$102.60 Profit in two weeks with very little effort
Just felt like sharing. I got approval from Johnathan first, because I knew I was going to give specifics. Was it luck? Skill? Most likely the tryptophan from all that turkey. Of course YMMV. I hit things just right but without leonArdo, none of this would have happened. At present leonArdo has been running nine and a half days.

Happy Trading,

Doing cryptocurrency stuff since 2010.
Would anybody be so kind to give me some good markets that swing nicely to put the bot to use on Smiley

Maybe take a look on iota/btc and burst/btc pairs ... they're somewhat like doge but with more volume and so more frequent trades to train a bit on. Wink

HEY,
is there any way to setup indicator to all tabs?

Yes, but it's a little clunky. You need to set them up how you like them on a single currency pair and then save this as the default (the save button in the indicator panel). Once you re-start leonArdo this indicator set will apply to all currency pairs.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

thank you i got it now.

Does anyone have any problems with Bittrix ping-pong? Jonathan (from Margin UG) says that my problems are due to  Bittrix's high API load...

Don't know if it's the same you are experiencing, but Bittrex for me has been very slow lately. It's not leonArdo fault, but really the Bittrex API, as Jonathan told you: it lags, specially in times of high load. I can confirm that because I've recently switched to Bitfinex, which uses a different technology for their API, and it is MUCH better. I'm now keeping these two exchanges in leonArdo: Bitfinex for daily trading, and Bittrex for "exotic" currencies I may occasionally trade (they usually have more trading pairs than the other exchanges).

Bittrex doesnt have webdocs?

Websockets, you meant? No, just a REST API. Don't know if the main reason for the Bittrex lag is their API technology or server/network load, though. I also haven't tested other exchanges, just these two (there may be other good performers).
