I am sad because I am pessimistic about the future development of the market. The reason is simple. You know, the heads of states in all countries have been eyeing the blockchain. On the one hand, they want to get the most out of the blockchain technology. On the other hand, they want to forbid BTC and various altcoin to a great extent The deal.

Would there be a big correction happening in the near future, to shake out those weak coins Huh
We don't know, we can't tell it perfectly on what exactly going to happen but we can speculate base on the scenario's where are we right now.

End of Feb if the past 3 years have anything to say about it.

2017 - drop Jan 4th, back up Feb 17th
2016 - drop Jan 10th, back up Feb 20th
2015 - drop Jan 12th, back up Mar 3rd
Seen this comparison through a chart and it's likely history is repeating itself. The first wave that happened before the first contract of bitcoin futures closed and I assume it's the big correction for this year if not, the big correction that chanpinchen is saying can probably shake out not only those weak coins but the whole crypto market.

If the situation is so, then the market will recover in February or March later. I also believe that this is the right time if you want to buy back to add future assets.

The bubble of the whole market is a little big, needs to be squeezed!
I love the correction, even a little big too.
But the correction is healthy to the whole market.
After the correction, there will be a bigger bull market,I believe that!

I think the market correction is almost over, Bitcoin had great support at the 10,000 level and climbed after slipping below for a short time. There are some great prospect altcoins that are weathering the decline with style not everything is red day after day at the moment so pick the upcoming stars and you will do fine.

The market is very over evaluated. Coins dont have much utility right now, and most of these ICO's are shit. We will see a correction for sure.

Now that the market has started to make a big adjustment, bitcoin is down nearly 100% from $20,000.
Other altcoins have fallen even more, and if the bear market comes, I think most of them will die.

That's the gamble you take buying altcoins. If you buy now and bitcoin recovers you could get big wins, but it's risky. Altcoins are cheaper because nobody knows which way bitcoin's going to go. I daren't guess if the correction will continue.

Nobody knows.
