Well that's what happens in a bear market. The markets continues to drop for months and years. You might get occasional pumps here and there which are nothing more than bull traps. You can't expect the price to just keep on rising. In fact the market was in a bull period for almost a year.
Yes, the market is going down as well as it's frustrating. Since last 4-5 month, I am regularly checking the coins price and thinking when the market will up. But 4-5 month later market didn't up yet. But I am still hopping at the end of this year 2018 market will up and we all recover our money.

Or this could be a normal fluctuation of the crypto market. We don:t know what exactly causes these chages and if you would think about it, the whole crypto market goes up and down way too much, and way too big. How ever there is also a really good chance that market is being manipulated.
in the beginning of the corrections, everybody thought oh just a small dip, i will not sell i will hold everything. And since these day, it dont stop to go down and down. So you could sell now everything and save what you got. Or you will make like a real inestor and wait and hold your coin until it will go uo again. You just have to know that it can be a long time until it rises again. So when you are impatience, you should leave this market.

I believe when the price of bitcoin falls, this also affect the price of altcoin and they begin to fall. The supply and demand can also affect altcoins' prices. Another factor was the news that increase regulations are coming to cryptocurrency globally. However I believe it will go up towards end of 2018. So better wait till the market boom again.
