Age groups are not the reason why people are opposed. If you can see many older people believe in Bitcoin and many young people do not believe in it. Things that are happening directly affect people's perceptions about it.

Basically it is of course young people, because they own a computer and freely perceive all the new changes. It is quite difficult for older people to adapt to such changes. They just don't want to understand bitcoin.

I think that we should focus not on a certain age category, but on people who are interested in and understand technology. And it can be people of very different ages.

I think the target audience of bitcoin is all people who own a computer. Without this basic knowledge, it is very difficult to manage investments in bitcoin. And the computer is mainly owned by young people 15 to 40 years. But of course, all these statistics are quite generalized.

For it is not about the age for me the ideal target group is the capability of these people to adapt to the changes. There are people that really knows how the market runs even though they are young and same the old one these people are very experienced.

It is necessary to include the people who can identify the project correctly rather than the age range. Nevertheless, the years we can call middle age, the years when people make the right decisions.

I agree. Bitcoin market needs people who understands well and do not doubt easily, it neeeds a mind with a huge acceptability or a wide range of knowledge. It is hard if it was oldies because they do not really trust technology that much because they are not used to it. Kt can be taught to a child but not allowed them to used it in a form or marketing. It needs planned and the child has no capability to do it. Therefore it must be a teenager or so.

Definitely target younger people as they are more open to taking risks and adopting new technologies and ideas. I would say 18-35 is the ideal age group to target.

To market bitcoin, you really don't need to look at age but where anyone wants it you can sell it, everyone has different characters and the level of maturity will win later.
A lot of young people are passionate, but when they get lazy, for an old age sometimes catching knowledge has also decreased but has good experience and policy.

So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
For most people who grew up in the industrial age, cryptocurrencies are something frightening. They in most cases do not understand what it is and how to use it properly. Most often react negatively.
That does not mean that they are going to be kept in that way. Its the job of the younger generation to teach their elders about new technology and things thats diffcult of them to get acquainted with easily. If thats not possible then they will remain away from bitcoin. However those people are generally not going to invest their time or money into new things and be happy with their lives having gone through a lot already. So I guess in that way it suits the younger generation to be more associated with crypto. Smiley

The best age group to market Bitcoin will be 18-30. They are risktakers, dreamers and wanna be rich.
And that is the reason they dont get rich Cheesy

If ever there will be any marketing about BTC, the target age group should be between the teenagers to middle adulthood. They are the ones who are quite acquainted with the digital world. We are already in a new generation of society wherein the evolution takes place in only a short period of time.

Group people that tend to have basic knowledge of the internet, whether old or young by the way are now able to open up this new civilization with the existence of Google search engines. So I think that age does not hold someone to invest and the rest of the bitcoin market development must be more advanced than before.

I was thinking about Bitcoin marketing and how we can fast track global adoption of Bitcoin and it suddenly came up that we are currently targeting the wrong age group for this.

The different age groups tend to react differently to marketing based on several factors, namely :

1. Older people tend to resist change.
2. Younger people are risk takers and sometimes even a bit reckless.
3. Older people might be more indoctrinated by fiat based theories and habits.
4. Younger people has grown up with the fast paced internet and ever changing innovation of technologies.
5. Older people might have been exposed to several "scams" during their life time and might be a bit more cautious of new things.
6. Younger people might have a bit more time to experiment with new things.

I am only listing some of the factors that might influence certain age groups to react differently to exposure to Bitcoin marketing. What age group would you say, would be the ideal target market for Bitcoin marketing?

I get your point and i wont dis agree but for me to give a good result for faster adaptation of Bitcoin.
The first target are the internet people since this technology is all done online and when we say internet people it covers a lot of age ranges.  For me age doenst matter as long that it can understand whats happening on the online world.

According to me, marketing bitcoin right now is very important, because there are so many people and countries which are totally unaware of the digital market. Now as you mention of the age group, I think the focus should be on the teens. But whilst doing so, all the other age groups must not be excluded totally from the race, because:

1. Older people: Though they tend to resist change, but that's because they are already convinced what they have. If you try to convince them to their maximum satisfaction, then not only they will understand it, but will make an effort to educate their younger ones.

2. Younger people: It is most beneficial to persuade the younger lot because they are the best human resources and are gonna make all the difference. If all this learning and imbibing process begins at an early stage, then they will be able to understand it better and will also make the most out of it. So the main focus should revolve around this group. In fact schools, colleges and universities shall introduce it as a subject in their curriculum for the students to learn it. Also the youth is smart and can make out new innovations. they have got this charisma in them.

The generation Y should be the ideal group for that. They are the work force of every country and have enough experience to try new thing.

The second category: The young ones that are ready to take risks and have enough time to recover from falls.

Some additional suggestions:

1. In my opinion, these are the best people to be targetted but not only that would be enough. These people might readily accept bitcoins but they won't have enough to invest in Bitcoins as they hardly earn any fortune. Financial stability must be kept in mind while marketing Bitcoins.

2. Bitcoin needs to be marketed as a currency and not an asset.

3. Changing market trends must also be kept in mind. The right time and right marketing efforts will lead to the best outcomes.

Bitcoin has made a unique identification in the market and its the number of investors who has made so popular and successful and it is on top of the crypto ranking leaving behind all other crypto currencies and on the other hand we all know that the future of any country lies in the hands of youth as they are future of nation so I think for marketing bitcoin, adult should be the target group as they are the next employee for the nation so first awareness should be created among youth first.

I think the reason for the current state of the market is not in marketing. For many, there is no need to use electronic money. The electronic money market and blockchain technology should grow stronger and become more civilized. Target marketing is very important in business, knowing the target at a certain age is very necessary, in order not to mislead the target. I am sure a person from 20 years of age, must know and use Bitcoin. It's just an emotional aspect that can distinguish it. I think 20 to 30 years old is the perfect target for the bitcoin market. Yes, young people are often reckless but they are an easy learner and knowledgeable grasp easily. If we really believe that Bitcoin is a technology that can change the world, age is not a problem. You do not have to focus on any marketing at a specific age, if you want to make a difference, fund projects where companies like MoneyGram and Western Union are forced out of the market. Students are broken down and can not invest in bitcoins, if they live in the dorm they can exploit altcoins and convert them into btc. They have the money and knowledge to invest

Millennial people are definitely the biggest part of the audience to target. They are born with tech and live with tech. Even if the family is poor the children have at least a smartphone. Old people will probably never see Bitcoin becoming massively adopted. Millennials are the one who will participate in the future
You are right, as for age group 15-35 y.o. it is ideal because they are our future and they are already invested in different technologies.
