Following 10 years of presence, the subject of whether the mass reception of digital currency has been begun is still bantered in the space. I would like to ask specialists in the crypto and blockchain businesses is there or have there be any huge crypto mass adoption compare to 10years ago?
Adoption is growing and it's growing tremendously at a very good rate right now, one proof that it is indeed progressing is Facebook's plan to enter the arena, Facebook sees its potential in the market.
The adoption is growing and i will strongly agree if that will be for bitcoin only and altcoin is facing the opposite thing. Altcoin gradually decreasing more and more to the bottom.
Do you think facebook will have a direct impact on the adoption of crypto?
It's very strange to me. Facebook has its own intention to take over the demand from the crypto too and how you can say facebook is such an example about the adoption of crypto has begun?

In my own opinion I will say it is increasing or rather growing, the reason is, taking a look at this space today we will see clear changes which haven't been around in recent years, nowadays we hear of various platforms incorporating blockchain or certian cryptocurrencies into their network. Also, there when I read crypto news I always come across various platforms too, who in one way or the other are getting licence to use crypto for various reasons. So to me, mass adoption is gradually coming up but not as fast as it should be.

I ask people about cryptocurrency? they respond, BTC. I ask, anything else? they answer, I do not know. Even Ethereum few people know. That says it all.
Which is a completely natural answer, most people in this forum first learned about cryptocurrencies by learning about bitcoin and only discovered altcoins when they began to inform themselves more deeply about this market, if you also look at which coins are actually being used to exchange products and services you will see that bitcoin is the leader by far, so if altcoins want to gain the same recognition that bitcoin has gained during the last 10 years they still have a lot of work to do especially since their reputation is also suffering among people like us that are interested not only in bitcoin but in the whole market as well.

There are many angles to look from and it encompasses Bitcoin as a single cryptocurrency, altcoins, and probably the underlying technology they offers. In the case of Bitcoin, by comparing its current state to what it was years ago we can say to an extent that it has grown as more and more investors keeps going for it more than most altcoins; thus per say, it has been adopted.
In the case of altcoins, there have been ups and downs coupled with scams etc, thus making it impossible to figure out which altcoin is really doing well or not, or which altcoin that has really been adopted into real world uses; on this I can only say few altcoins have been adopted into existing systems but I can't count that as a success owing to the number of them existing.
Then on the other hand is the underlying technology, wherein owing to decentralization most platforms are now seeing the need to incorporate blockchain as it holds a vital stand in what the future offers.
So, I think to an extent, we are growing.

Bitcoin? Obviously it has grown tremendously in the last 10 years or so.

Blockchain? Yes, many companies are adopting it as well, public/private.
You can read here: (https://hackernoon.com/blockchain-adoption-could-be-closer-than-we-think-e68bebaebca4)

Altcoins? I'm not sure about that, perhaps the top 10 coins are being adopted as well but in a slow phase.

You also need to include regulations as well, this is a big factor if we wanted to see crypto as a whole being adopted globally.

Mass adoption is on the way, but it's still a long time distant. Years definitely. A decade? Maybe, maybe not.

The potential of crypto is as strong as ever. I firmly believe it will win out over fiat in the end just because of its advantages: faster, cheaper, more secure, borderless etc etc.
Market cap is growing year by year, but the integration of crypto into mainstream society has barely even begun.

Digital currency and crypto currency aren't the same. Crypto currencies maybe considered as a form of digital currencies but they are huge difference between them. Like Paypal balance is a digital currency and bitcoin is a crypto currency. Relate the two examples and you will see how they are different.
Mass adoption is actually growing. If you look back 6/7 years ago, people rarely talked about crypto currencies. But look at it now. It is always on the media spotlight. Different projects are arising based on the blockchain technology. This is just a hint that people are actually adopting it slowly.

Basically no, because the market or the industry is still growing as we have seen from the last  years. 10 years ago, the entire industry was not like this, many awareness was created among the masses but the response from these masses can not be compares to be seen as mass adoption from them, rather we are no longer where we used to be before. We have seen many businesses that have ventured into the cryptocurrency world and the Blockchain.

talking about blokchain technology I think that many foreign countries have started to develop their own coins through this technology, what has been made by satoshi is really extraordinary, a decentralized financial system and anonymity that makes many people start to be interested in adopting blokchain. I believe, over time this technology will grow rapidly.

Adoption is growing, and crypto is gaining ever greater prominence in the media. Also increasing focus from governments and legislative bodies. The trend in trading volumes is also upwards.
But whilst adoption is growing, we are a long way from true mass adoption, which would be full integration of crypto into everyday life. A lot of use cases - smart contracts a big example - haven't really even begun to touch their potential yet. So real mass adoption is I think coming, but still a long way off
I completely agree with that, anyone who sees what's happening without than the price volatility would see the real status of adoption in the market.
We will feel that the big adoption is already here if we can easily spend our crypto currencies like we are spending fiat for our daily needs.

For now, crypto particularly bitcoin is not yet widely use for daily needs, it's more widely use for online transactions such as gambling, buying things online, and the likes, but for business like restaurant, electric provider and communication, it's not widely accepted yet. I would be happy if I can pay my utility bills through bitcoin but until now I haven't experience it, I still need to convert my btc to fiat to be able to pay all my bills.

We were actually having a very huge increase in the adoption of bitcoin until some little discouragement came and it slows down the rate of adoption, 2017 even was really one of the thing that affected bitcoin mass adoption negative when the whales suddenly dumped the price of bitcoin, and out a lot of people in debt.

The following years was when issue of scammers became rampant and all everyone was hearing are scammers using the system to take money from people and the positive part of the cryptocurrency started dwindling in getting to the hears of new investors. I believe that one day, things will change for good again and we start having mass adoption, but for now, I think the adoption is just growing slowly and individually till the government legalize it.

the adoption of large crypto in 2017 until now has occurred. compared to a few years ago the crypto was getting higher. I think this has already happened the mass adoption of crypto, namely bitcoin and altcoin.
It wasn't an adoption that people want because after the bull run, the market suffered a long correction that makes value of our holdings significantly drop. Though it's good to see bitcoin have its ATH but if it's instant or abrupt, we know what would happen next because we already witnessed it.

I would rather see a slowly and steady phase so it will be attractive to smart investors that will stay here for long. One of the major reason why the market dump last time is because there are new investors who came here aiming for instant profit, and they panic easily when the market corrects.

yes the adoption of blockchain technology has begun. many large companies have adopted blockchain technology to develop their own coins, as in a recent example, I heard that the facebook company will soon release their tokens in 2020. true or not we are just waiting for the launch of their tokens, but it can be said that the adoption of this technology is growing rapidly and the problem is that most of them misuse this to crypto get rich.

A few years ago, cryptocurrencies did not develop as much as now, you can look at how cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency technologies began to develop about 2-3 years ago, just about that time there was a huge sensation around cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency technologies and still the cryptocurrency sphere is gaining momentum every day and still cryptocurrency developing very much around the world, and if governments will legalize cryptocurrency, then growth will be much faster.

the emergence of bitcoin from the beginning until now has attracted new users to adopt them or take part in it, if for altcoin I think there is no mass adoption because it is not possible for users to adopt all altcoins in the crypto market, at least only a few altcoins which they think are good for investation. related to blokchain I believe that this technology will gradually be used by several countries, governments and other large companies, because I feel that Blokchain technology has a good future for the digital age industry the following year.

With the current status of bitcoin, I must say the mass adoption is already started. To proved it, more Merchants and businesses are now open for new deveopment system such as blockchain technology and accepting bitcoin payments. These being said, is the proof that bitcoin is probably growing being known as a cryptocurrency.

The adoption has begun for a few years ago. We can find more merchants will join in the cryptocurrency, and they will allow their customer to pay using bitcoin. That is good progress for the cryptocurrency because that will attract other people to use bitcoin too. If more merchants can join with the other merchants who already use Bitcoin, then we will see the adoption will start faster than now. Besides that, that will give a chance to us to see the government soon will approve the cryptocurrency too.
