Many people got into tricked that BCH will overtake BTC because of Segwit 2x drop and BTC fees going high. And the pump and dump caused a massive price variation. But sadly a lot people lost their money and the big whales made a fortune. One thing I learned is whenever BTC drops it will come back much stronger. I have been following both the subreddits and yeah there are a lot of difference. That begin said even r/Bitcoin is highly censored.

I thinks some individuals have hidden agenda and   wants to promote or upgrade BCH at all cost and undermine bitcoin which is absolutely unrealistic, bitcoin has come to stay and any conspiracy to downgrade it will fail,  you should have ignore there advise on BCH in /r/ BTC subreddit  Iam also member of that reddit I just read people's comments  without taking any action on suggestions made in the forum.

I never believed in bitcoin cash because of their seemingly for profit and monopolization/centralization model. However, greed got to me and I got tricked into buying BCH for the first time last week, all thanks to the /r/BTC subreddit. With bitcoin now at $8800 I got burned badly and I now hate bitcoin cash immensely. Its my fault.

But you should now that they talk shit about bitcoin over there relentlessly. I don't exactly why i am sharing this but i get angry whenever i think about /r/btc.
They are fooling people into think bitcoin core is something evil. Something must be done.
You should buy BCH last November 10 while the price is still $600 ride the roller coaster pump and then sell bitcoin cash for the price of $2400, It really dumped quickly last November 12 you should buy that point then switch to bitcoin to ride the skyrocketing price of 10k that's why you should never believe to the FUD's that they are spreading and do your own research to make a great judgement and decision for buying cryptocurrency, that's their game of pumping and dumping, promoting their own centralized coin.

don't follow too serious if you don't research on your own because sometimes the news is not true and only give panic to us. before we start to believe from what we read, it's better to always search another news so we compare the news. if bitcoin getting strong then i think most of altcoin will get burned and the situations are like yesterday which the price is getting down too deep for almost altcoin.

Well, the thing is, don't fully believe what others say. Read what they say, and think about it and have your own stand. It is up to us to make the final decision anyways, so just do a little research, and do what you want.

I agree that Bitcoin is going strong now, best to keep it till next year, just my opinion. Smiley Of course it is still your own choice if you want to buy ETH, etc... Smiley
