I plan to make available for sale 1750 MSC (1% of my holdings) for 1222 BTC on the distributed exchange once it has some more testing. The price will therefore be just a touch under 0.7 MSC/BTC.

If my order gets filled, I will have recovered all of the BTC I originally invested, while still keeping 99% of my MSC holdings. If BTC prices are still around the current level, I will be able to quit my job and focus full-time on MSC.

I have no idea how long it will take to get to that price, and I certainly can't promise that we will get there. I also can't promise that my plans won't change.

This order can be put on the order book if you want, although I don't plan to sell anything the old fashioned way. Smiley

I apologize to all of you who have asked me questions in various emails and forum posts. I'm drowning in unanswered questions at the moment, and they'll have to wait a while even yet. Hopefully other people in the community can fill in for me for some of it. Smiley

I think that you made a typo: 1750 MSC for 1222 BTC is 0.7 BTC/MSC.

Oh shit!  Is this the end of Mastercoin?!  Prices fell by 20% in just one day?  What happened?  Did I miss some bad news?
Couple possibilities:
-the fear MSC transactions may become very slow due to miners making address reuse a low priority
-a colored coin p2p exchange coming out very soon

Who knows though.

I think i wrote them both a couple of days ago, and did not get any reply.

Okay I want to buy 5 Mastercoin at .2 or 1 Btc in Total.  Could I do this using a clean paper wallet?  If so please add me to the order book.
Yes, assuming that you have the private key on your paper wallet (which should be the case).

There are 3 sellers currently selling @0.2 or below – please contact them to close a deal. Should you not be able to find a seller I'll put you on the order book later.
Also, I contacted the other 2 buyers @0.24 and 0.25 and asked them to contact sellers. I'll remove their orders should I not hear back from them.

UPdate - I used the order book and reached out to Faraday who has agreed to sell me 5 @ .95 total with escrow using pouncer.  I've sent the coin using

Waiting to see receipt of MSC to an offline wallet now.

I am willing to buy for 5BTC mastercoins for 0.19 BTC each, or better price if offered....
I see some offers of 0.19btc, and I try to contact them directly...only can only send 1 message every so many minutes...
my bitcoin address 1MfAfa8nYuCQHzXRhZLxE5cCeoHZb72pDw , which is multibit client...would like to understand that mastercoins wont get lost there...

Waiting for pm
The important thing is that you control the private key to your address. I don't have Multibit installed so I can't give a definitive answer here,  but I think that you can export your private keys with Multibit. If that's the case, then an address created in Multibit is good for holding Mastercoins.

Remove my sell order please, thanks!

remove my buy order from the order book that was 15 msc for 3.15 btc please

Btw user "lencom" currently owes me 0.3 BTC or 1.43 MSC.
I sent him 0.3 BTC as part of our trade of (15 MSC for 3.15 BTC), and I have received nothing in return, as of yet.

In contrast user "Faraday" was a pleasure to deal with. I trust him.

Yep no problem about taking profits !

Weak hand to strong hand, like always

Some things never change, ppl here could be selling to the equivalent of the "one million dollar pizza r", mastercoin is a revolutionary idea, anyways I would like to place a 100 msc order at 0.1, hopefully I pick up some cheap coin Wink
