Why did you take big win of the casino games? AFAIK the max bet amount for the sportsbook and the casino games are different. Casino games has fixed max bet/max profit per bet based on the latest bankroll while for sportsbook can be completely different as it can be limited based on the events or other things. At least I have heard some people (stake's users) asking/complaining that they get very low limit for the sportsbook. Imho you cant assure him about the max bet amount on sportsbook by using an example of big win/big bet on the casino games.

That is not true. Stake only had license issues because they hosted a Lamborghini giveaway that was perceived by the licensing authorities as a Lottery and that was against their license agreement. The thing is, Stake never sold tickets for the Lottery, it gave players a ticket for every $1000 they wagered. (Stake sorted this out with the authorities and their license was reinstated)
