Thanks you make sense, gambling should not become a habit that's why I'm thinking to abandon it completely (or may be I should gamble when I feel like doing so, like you said).

I got lucky few days ago, and made 14 eos from 0.50 eos, didn't withdraw anything and lost it all.

Then yesterday made like 5 eos profit, withdrew 3 eos, played with remaining 2, lost it.

Today played with last three and lost it as well.

Now, I guess, I should just leave it. Lol!

Right,we are actually not making anything.We all are just giving all the money we are depositing to the gamling owner.Some realize and accept the reality but there are few people want to change the reality and the fate of the game as well.Still they can't do anything.

No need to completely quit gambling but don't make it as habit especially the same game and the same amount of bet will make your more addicted.

I'm a fan of sports betting as well, and I don't really have a fix amount when betting, I go higher when I love to bet, just like the recent Pacman vs Thurman fight, that's a big fight for me so that deserves a bigger bet.

Sports gambling depends from how confident you are when betting with types of games you are involved with, if you are skilled gambler and
you know deeper you can deposit higher bankroll and place a big bets with games you have good knowledge and higher chances to win, different
gamblers have their own perceptions and own ways to work with opportunities.

He is a low key gambler as he mentioned, his style is pretty different from people who are serious in gambling where they allocate a big bankroll for long term purposes, in short, he is just like a typical gambler.

Although the amount netted on gambling platform's differs because my bet is always bases on my lost in the recent win and not the latest loose I lose to the gambling platform's. Most of my betting are from the range of or ranges from the beginning.

This is an interesting question to me!
I don't remember what is maximum bet in one shot, if I am right, I was betting 0.02 BTC on sportsbet when the time crypto market was in peak. That time I believe many people was gambling with the huge funds.
If you ask me to do that now. I will not do that for sure.

I remember the time I was with my brother and he brought around $1,000 in his pocket. He sweared and promised me that he will only bet a maximum of $200 either win or go home. But at the time of betting, he was on a consistent losing streak therefore losing up to $500. At his last bet, he told me that he will risk all of his money and if he losses, he will never gamble again.

To our surprise, he miraculously won and doubled his initial money from $1,000 to $2,000 that night. After that, he never went to the casino ever again.

I have seen people placing crazy amount of bet size at crypto-games.net. I have seen people betting like 15 BTC with maximum win chance. I know that is crazy but it is true. Am a gambler with limit because of my self-control in gambling. Most at time I gamble with a budget which after exhausted will retired to my home and, most of my betting are tagged base on my previous wins: 100$ is my limit since I joined the world of gambling. Although at some time I do bet low depending on my last wins.

That's lucky of you, my experience is different, I lose more when I try to win back my loses, so every time I lose, I just accept and let go of it.
I am very interested to know everyone's ranges here, so I would appreciate if OP will make a poll for with ranges of amount and must be specific, either in BTC or fiat value.

I never use all of my money in a single bet because I am too afraid to lose in one-time. The maximum amount I use on a single bet that I ever try is 0.005 btc, but that happens in a few years ago before bitcoin price reaches $3000. In that time, I don't have any feeling about the loss because of 0.005 btc value is not the same as now. But after that, I decided to reduce the amount to bet.
