Sometime ago I was too much involve in sports betting and casino games but my first love was still sports betting and I was doing too many bets for this but my biggest bet still I remember was 1 bitcoin and match was Liverpool vs Sunderland which ends in Draw and I lost my this bet after this I never take risk like this.
I've spend $200 worth of bitcoin on sports betting when directbet website was active. I did this when the price of bitcoin was around $2000. Won bigger amounts and during those days I was not that aware of sports betting. Everytime I used to select the odds in a random manner, by those days I was lucky.
I think this forum has lot of regular gambler so I am interested to know how much they ever spend as highest bet amount in very single bet.
The maximum single bet I ever done for dice games is below 0.1 BTC, for game slots 0.005 BTC (ever get massive win with that bet amount) and play satoshibones with betting 0.2 BTC (won over 0.7 BTC). But it's been a long time, make a bet like that because the price of bitcoin is quite cheap and looking for bitcoin is quite easy, not like now. 
The minimum bet varies from one item to another, Each gambler has his own potential to bet. This depends on your own possibility. If you have a large extra money you can bet a large amount and in case if you have a physical possibility Few you can bet on a small amount.
I think that this is correlated to how much confidence a gambler has for a specific bet.Slot bets,the max bet is very limited and the highest bet is always placed in sport betting where limits are very high compared to slots or other casino games.Mine is a relatively low amount of 0.10 Btc as a max bet and it was some years ago,I don't spend 1000k on a single bet with today's economy.
Absolutely, never bet more than what we can't afford to lose. I myself am almost the same as you, my biggest bet is only $30 and my smallest bet is $1, and now my bet is stable using $5, well because I don't have a lot of money to bet higher. Put $5 is good enough to return capital with good management, yeah but my bet is not always lucky but it's good enough for now.
Now the most important thing is to bet with what you can afford, and don't bet on what you can't afford. Always adjust the capital with your bets, well you have to manage bets well.

It's probably because they are humble enough, or for security purposes.
But as for me, my biggest bet is only $20. Why? Obviously, I don't gamble that much and I don't like losing. Plus, it's the amount I can "afford to lose" for now. I don't have a job yet and I only gamble excess money from my allowance. And I think it's a good practice of "self-control" so that nothing worse can happen to me; become a gambling addict, particularly.
It's okay if your highest would be $20 with one bet, if you know on how much is that in some other countries that are striving to earn $1 per day, then you'll understand on how big it is already.

My highest single bet was just over 2 BTC but that was when BTC was worth just over $200.
Do you mean still place 2+ BTC bets or $200+ BTC bets. I still do the latter but I do not consider myself a high roller lol. I just gamble for fun.

I’ve been known to bet £1000 on a single football match before, I’ve also placed bets as small as £1. It really depends what my financial situation is at the time & what odds/match it is.
The most I ever spent on a bet was for a handball match where I bet €200 on the winner. The odds were not great but it was a safe bet and I won it.
On some football matches I occasionally place €100 bets but that is about it.

this will depend on the casino and not on the type of games . there are slot games that you can bet lower at a minimum and you can bet high at maximum , ive also seen sportsbetting sties that the bets are capped because the site is only small .maximizing bet on a single bet is too damn risky and i guess no one have the guts to this .

Yeah that would be the range especially if the sports you are betting is your forte like in football or basketball. There are also bettors that can bet more than that. In boxing, I'm sure that there are bettors that can reach up to millions of dollars. But I'm sure whales bet more than that,

I remember that I have thought about a topic as close to this one. It is also on how much you could use on capital and are willing to risk to. I like it that I saw this topic too, I'm curious about those High Rollers who are betting whole Bitcoins lol.
Losing money, it's one of the reasons that I have stopped gambling so that I would be able to limit myself on what I'm risking on. It's pretty hard to control when you know that you are an optimistic type of person that you think you could win on a game.

It'll depend on the gamblers how much the fund they are willing to spend, there are want a small amount to bet there is also a big bettor. For me, in sports betting, I usually bet more or less $200 every match but as of now quite lack fund to bet. Always remember that gamble only what you can afford, don't get a loan or borrow money just to gamble. We think that high bet will return of high profit but we don't know maybe its cause of quick lose of your money.
