If you want to know bitcoin's highest potential value, then it would probably just be the 'market capitalisation' of all existing fiat currencies combined. That would happen in the case that bitcoin was able to establish itself as the global currency, and be used worldwide by every single person. Obviously, that's pretty extreme, and I doubt it'll happen. But it's possible.

But what's the point of measuring bitcoin's value in fiat if we're talking about the long term, honestly?

Fiat is known to be notoriously depreciative and if bitcoin does skyrocket that much, it's unlikely that fiat would be worth anything, and would instead return to its intrinsic value which is zero. 1 bitcoin would simply be regarded as 1 bitcoin by that stage.

Total value of financial transaction that occur everyday is in trillions and total value of all tradable currency is even high. So just divide 100 trillion by 21 million you sill get some figure. Many people believe one day one bitcoin will be worth a million USD but I personally think I will be still alive to see bitcoin near $100k Grin

BTC will actually cost the highest price. Because Bitcoin's needs and benefits are increasing, the bitcoin will actually be able to get high prices very soon. Bitcoin is getting legal legitimization across the country. Its price is also increasing gradually.

Co-founders of what? There are no co-founders of Bitcoin. There was just one anonymous Bitcoin creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, and no one has heard from him since 2011. $50k Is possible for each Bitcoin, I do believe that. It will just take some time.

In bitcoin their would be definitely rapid growth may happen so maybe this year ends it can hit more than the last all time high. Hard to say the maximum price would btc can reach so let's think of possibilties then.

My guess is that it would go up to $60,000- $80,000 because of the lost coins and increasing demand in the future. If Bitcoin reaches such a high price it'll crash down immediately. Most likely that this surge will happen after the halving maybe 3-4 years from now or the next event after that depending on how Bitcoin's situation would be like.

The prediction of some users here sounds crazy ($1m) it's possible if usd continues to lose value.

For me, maybe it will reach $15K above by the end of the year, just like what happened last Dec 2017. Still it will dpwnds on the demands in the market. Hopefully it will drastically rise up to a much higher value.

For me $100k is the highest that btc can get but I really don't have an idea on what year it will be or how many yeara from now before we could get it. It will depend on the whales if they will pump it so hard or depend on the demand and acceptance.

Well, the highest price of bitcoins that has been reached last year is approximately $20k dollar and most of the crypto analyst today is expecting for bitcoins to reach $50k dollar and that is the reason i am only holding my coins today.

The highest price of the bitcoin and really possibleto reach is $100,000 and I think it will hit after few years from now. But we need unity if we want to see bitcoin price like that. Everyone want the price increasing but other people are panic selling so they need to supoort bitcoin if they have many panic seller of the bitcoin we need to buy more bitcoin so the price become stable and continue to increase.

Of course there is. There is an excact amount or limit that bitcoins value can reach because its supply is not unlimited. Its value cannot increase anymore if all the remaining bitcoins are all been mined but if that time happens , i think the value of bitcoin will become super high.

Anyways , your dreams and hopes for bitcoin will soon to be achieved and the best thing you can do for now is wait and keep on trusting in btc.

There's no limit for bitcoin to reach it's peak. From 0 to $20,000 so that's a good example on what's the possible high it can go.

I agree with you. In my own opinion, bitcoin can only reach is $19,000 to $20,000, since it's only the first peek or record that bitcoin reached back in December 2017. That's the reality, it can only reach around that price range. I believe that bitcoin will only reach that price range at the end of 2018, it can be higher than $20,000 but not higher than $30,000 since the price in the market has become stable currently.

I want for it to hit $40,000 before the end of August. That is a good point to make me have a great birthday celebration. But whether that will happen is another thing. Our worry and speculation of bitcoin will not do it any good. It can only worsen our health. I do not want to have bad health and HBP.

I think the highest peek was 1M, its more realistic to think that btc reach its peek last year and it didnt maintain its value. For me, its possible this yea, you you focus your view on the positive than negative, theres a big hope that bitcoin will get higher value this year.
