Many people are caught up in ICO fraud and many projects fail. This is a risk in doing this work and before you join it certainly must have known. I don't think you need to give up because there are still many good projects that can succeed.
Joining ICO does require a lot of experience, and luck. The problem is that many things are unexpected, beyond predictions. I also experienced the same thing because of joining Ico, my capital decreased a lot and I suffered losses of more than 80%. Then I decided not to join Ico again, like you.

Of course, you own the final decision to whatever step you intend to make. But the "give up" shouldn't be so quick like this. ICOs are good avenues of making money from crypto although i believe there have been instances where your investment in some ICOs yield apparently nothing. It is normal to most beginners in crypto. Not all ICOs are worthless, it takes thorough research to come across good ICOs. I can attest to the fact that i have invested in a couple of ICOs and about 80% yielded more than 100% after listing on the market which catered for my 20% losses in other ICOs. this is a result of too many ico scams, investors have bad memory with ico. there are some successful ico but the market is difficult to grow with their tokens. investors do not trust to hold their tokens so the price of tokens is difficult to rise.
I agree with you bud, scam ICOs are spawning like mushroom causing distractions to the crypto community thus shoving away crypto investors. Personally i am a victim of a scam ICO and it really frustrates me that to the extent of quitting and leave the cryptosphere.

Of course ico is risky to invest, I think that you should not give up, after the market reversal I think you can try to invest I think then you can earn
would be a reasonable thing when it encountered a lot of people give up for this time. conditions on the crypto crashed while this indeed makes bad things included in the ICO. a lot of that went into this large and when crypto time encounters this condition then please be advised when many are disillusioned and leave. But if you can stay then it would be better because crypto is not finished.

Investing in an ICO hasn't been profitable for some time, as the market has been in downward trend for a long-period of time. I think that situation will change if the market goes in bull trend again.
