@nghs I'm in a similar place to you from a month or so back, you seem to be the most recent person to be able to do a withdraw. I'm trying to withdraw and the hot wallet is practically empty. I wondered if you had any success contacting anyone from the site to get the wallet refilled?

I've posted on here and emailed [email protected], [email protected] and also posted a complaint on the curaco gaming website that I've seen mentioned but not had a reply from any.

Can any recommend any other contact channels to try? Did you ever get a response or did the wallet just fill up mysteriously one day? I've seen the value increase a tiny amount over the last few weeks, but I suspect that may just be from losing players?

Cheers
I didn't got any answer from anyone, I have withdrawn my balance little by little, trying regularly...
The wallet did not fill up mysteriously one day, I think that when someone new come to play it fill up a bit the wallet, so I was able to get some money back this way. But it is slow and requires patience...

Do you still have a lot to withdraw?

I've had some coins in there since the Satoshi days and just rolled with the rebrand without keeping up on current events, assuming it'd all be fine, deffo a screw up on my part but we learn which is important! I'll try and pursue this as much as I can because, it would be a nice late crimbo pressie (haha) if we can get some cooperation from Megadice to release more investor funds Smiley

If we do have left some significant amount of coins then we would really be having this kind of reaction on where we do get those funds but basing off into their forum account which had been only active
back in July then its not bad to presume that they had left out this place and didnt make any further response on whats been written on here plus those pending scam accusations that they had.

I do hate to present out GP on here but this one is relevant.

This is why its really important not to miss out updates or information towards on the platform specially if you do have some coins stored out there.
No site that do last forever thats why always do take some precation.

The site disappeared over xmas for a day or so, but it appears to be back up again, and technically functional. The only issue is the hot wallet is never being refilled and currently has only 0.0015 BTC which you'd have to pay a fee of 0.001 on top if you wanted to withdraw it.

I've been monitoring it weekly and attempting to withdraw each time. It's not looking positive and I've pretty much written it off as a loss.

The Bet on the House amount shown on the site has been fluctuating, and I do believe those funds do exist in a wallet somewhere although this is a different store of funds than cold storage. Most notably around mid Nov the figure dropped by 10 to 22.30490452 it's now at 21.08235864. These movements could just be the result of people like you and I moving their funds out of the Bet on the House in preparation to withdraw, which they then realised they couldn't do.

There appears to be a small amount of bet activity happening, last bet was 19 days ago for small change. The only way the site is currently making money is as a honey trap as new unsuspecting users join up and add funds.

When the site went down, I expected that was it, however the fact it came back means someone is still looking after it it seems.

Weird how you just replied as I was about to update saying the site is back online! Haha! Ive been doing a lot of research over the past few days trying to figure out ownership etc to try find some other channels of contact should the site and the email server go down again. I had already written off my funds also but like you say, theres a slight hope considering someone must be doing something with the site with it coming back up after a while.

It seems that none of the slot games are able to connect on my end, gets a wallet error message after loading; I have not tried to place a small bet on the dice to test that functionality but I assume that may also be offline to a degree. I have also looked at the stats, it seems like some bets have been placed recently but nothing over the past two days since its been back online.

I've had no responses from the support email but it's definitely accepting mail currently, going to send another soon and try make the subject stand out to grab attention if the inbox happens to get glanced at maybe? We'll see haha!

Megadice is a scam, all are advised to read through this thread and take note.

I've read through the entire thread, its certainly all very worrying, it seems Megadice are in trouble and the case involving Newalias has many red flags that should be reviewed by a credible third party with legal standing and resolved, 100%!

Also, Logicman, feel free to dm/pm me if you want to share notes in more detail Smiley

So, i'm pretty late to the party and have only found myself here after trying to access my megadice account today.

The site is currently down which is no surprise after reading previous comments, its been a while since I last logged in, I have/had some btc 'bet on the house' which I check up on from time to time. I was not even aware of the shady goings on with them recently, otherwise I would have withdrawn my coin sooner!

Does anyone know the last date when the site was up and still functional to the point of withdrawing funds?

Is there much chance the site is just down for maintenance or should I fully write off my funds already? Sad haha!

Also, does anyone happen to know any of their 'cold storage' wallet addresses? (Just curious to see if they even have any remaining funds live in their accounts)

Many thanks,
-DrD

Don't know what was the exact time we are still able to withdraw our money from megadice, but based on this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/megadice-scam-over-19-btc-stolen-5204156  , he was able to withdraw on last year.

MegaDice are scammers, they have stolen 19 BTC from the OP and they still continue to operate their website. I hope the ringleaders behind the scam manage to get jail time after they get investigated by multiple legal authorities.

I've been trying to withdraw my remaining funds for the last few months but the hot wallet was always pretty much empty. Now the withdraw feature is broken as it no longer sends you an email to unlock your account for withdrawing. The support email address is now also bouncing emails as of this week, not that I ever got a reply anyway.

I'd pretty much written off the remaining funds I had in there anyway but it seems certain now. There's 20 BTC still present in the 'House' account this has also been dwindling down recently, which makes me believe someone behind the scenes is managing to extract the money out before it disappears.

I wish there was some way to track them down.

First of all feeling sad for your losses.
But also meantime thinking it's a nice teaching to the newbies like you. How can you play in such a site which is dead for many months? Also it's always advised by the veteran Gamblers to play on trusted and reputable websites.
But still guys like you play on these new and fresh sites and when don't get your winnings/withdraw back, you come up here crying.
MegaDice is inactive for many months and you can also see their reputation from the red trust. Sadly no one can help you.

MegaDice is far from a 'new and fresh site' it's been around for over 7 years and was originally named SatoshiDice. For the last 5-6 years I've had a fair chunk of BTC earning interest there using the Bet on House feature and made some decent gains. I started pulling my investment back in 2017 and have only about 1/5 of my stake still there. Since the sites credibility really came into question earlier on this year I've been pulling as often as the hot wallet has funds which sadly is almost never.

The withdraw feature is back working again today, but still nothing in the hot wallet - but still, a glimmer of hope for those with funds trapped.

Thanks for this information. Unfortunately I don't think they have that feature. So I have to wait until they response.

If there is any progress, I will post under this thread.

Thanks again.

Hi Megadice,

I lost my Google Authenticator because my cellphone was damaged. How can I reset it? Thanks a lot.

By the way, I have sent you several emails but you don't response.

Do you have some balance on your account? If you dont, better to forget your account and stay away from megadice. They do not respond your emails, I believe you wont get any responses from them here in this thread as well. Take a look at the rep's last online, it was on July 3rd. Means that he is not active in thie forum for more than 3 weeks now. The only thing you can do is to wait. Anyway, dont they have a feature like "lose my 2fa"? Afaik most sites has this feature so users can reset it easily.

Their website is still running, they are scammers so some form of counter is needed but am not sure if the existing scam allegation against them is sufficient to warn other users to stay away from them or if this thread should also be used to promote the message that megadice are scammers.

This thread should be locked.

It's quite obvious that MegaDice isn't interested in addressing the concerns players have regarding their site, or even the flag that has been created on them.

They've been negged into oblivion and don't seem the care in the slightest.

Any platform that doesn't have even the decency to take the time to clear their name at a forum that is likely responsible for the majority of its traffic should not be used.

I'm trying to withdraw and there's not enough in the hot storage on MegaDice, does anyone know from experience how long it takes for this to be resolved? I've been trying a couple of days now and had the same problem. I've emailed the support email but not had a reply.

I've had this issue in the past, but it was resolved fairly quickly I think, but that was a couple of years ago now.

If the support account is on here, please can you help out. I'm trying to withdraw 0.95 BTC,

Cheers,

Damn, why did you come here in this thread after you face a serious issue.
You should not have faced this issue if you check about this site here in this forum earlier before you made your last deposit and play.
What you can do now is just to wait and hope that they will answer to your concern and fix your problem.

I last deposited a few years ago, I don't use the site to play, but to get returns via the 'Bet on the House' feature. I have withdrawn before, and had issues with empty cold storage but it's always been resolved eventually. Hopefully it will be resolved soon (still no luck today).

Bitdice is scam scam scammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
MegaDice did not answer to Curacao eGaming within 7 days, so Curacao eGaming ask them again to answer.
For now, still no answer from MegaDice, and they did not answer to Curacao eGaming as well

Yes, that is the same they did to me. In my case, an amount of whopping 19 BTC has been scammed.

Do not expect anything from Curacao eGaming either.

They weren't reliable from the begging and they turned scam.
