Well, that's quite ironic, my registration being 6 years older than yours. Maybe even older than you.
Wow. 6 years older and total 141 posts writing shit.
Expert 100% like his idol Roger  Roll Eyes

The fees aren't a problem but the lack of block space is. I have proposed a way to scale the bitcoin network on chain https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/split-bitcoin-2381234 , so far the development team is afraid to make radical moves. Meanwhile BCH and co. slowly but surely creep up https://coinmarketcap.com .

What does that have to do with shilling a blatant scam?

Good old Ver, never disappoints you Roll Eyes
I almost started up a thread in the Scam Accusations section, but I figured it wouldn't do any good since it was off-forum and I don't know how many people actually use that shitty website.
That's what forums are for, it might help someone.

Go shill them and their shit somewhere else.

BCH is all right, at least they don't have crazy BTC transaction fees but increased block size has been a mistake leading to centralization. I think only Roger Ver and Jihan Wu would be able to implement this and to bury Blockstream and their Lightning Network in the process:
Roger Ver and Jihan Wu can only bury they own shit in the ground and expect stinky flowers to grow up in future.
Go shill them and their shit somewhere else.

The fact that Roger thinks that 'electronic cash' means something you have to buy coffee with clearly shows that he doesn't understand what Bitcoin truly is.
Who care what he thinks about his ATL to buy and sell or any other use case. I only care him not to use the brand image of Bitcoin with his shit ALT.

r/btc stop using it for BCH
Bitcoin.com stop using it for BCH

What else he has under the image of Bitcoin? Can anyone help to find them please.
Someone close to him used to use the @bitcoin twitter handle to shill BCash, but that changed hands not too long ago. He also has his finger in many anti-bitcoin companies, like blockchain.com and BitPay.
Yes I remember Adam Back. Tahnks for this @Bitcoin handle too.

I do not care about other brands like blockchain.com or Btpay and who are behind them, but I am only thinking about to do something to protect the brand image of Bitcoin where those attentions' seeker are using the brand of something else to their own business.

Roger Ver is clearly using the Brand image of Bitcoin in his own ALTcoin.
Bitcoin.com to shill BCH
r/btc to shill BCH

As a community how long we will accept that? Can we not group together and make a petition about it? Once we have enough support then we can report it to reddit and namecheap. Thoughts?

PS: For the first time I visited https://www.facebook.com/bitcoin, I hope it's in control of a right person.

I’ve met and talked with Roger Ver twice in separate blockchain conferences (Token News Conference 2018 and Blockchain Life 2019). He even gave me $10 worth of BCH that time in the Bitcoin Cash wallet. During that time, it was just the end of the hash wars between BCH and BSV. I don’t pick any of their sides by the way, because Bitcoin is the real Bitcoin (not BCH or BSV by faketoshi Wright).

I have to be honest with you guys. There was a time that my colleague got an offer from Roger Ver to become a global ambassador in making BCH a payment method for merchants. My colleague wants me to apply for that position instead of her, but when I heard that there was no retainer fee (but only commission), I decided to pass because I thought Roger Ver does have big budget to pay for our services.

If I did accept the offer, I would have wasted a lot of time not getting paid by Ver.

I wouldn’t store a single sat on any wallet he owns.
I obviously agree, but nobody should own your wallet, period. If your wallet is closed source then it is effectively owned by the developers who can do anything they like with it. When that developer is a known scammer like Ver, then that's a recipe for disaster.

What else he has under the image of Bitcoin? Can anyone help to find them please.
Someone close to him used to use the @bitcoin twitter handle to shill BCash, but that changed hands not too long ago. He also has his finger in many anti-bitcoin companies, like blockchain.com and BitPay.

To be fair, not all BCH supporters are also Ver fans, few of them genuinely believe increasing block size is best solution rather than off-chain solution
They are currently failing (or perhaps just grossly outnumbered) to make themselves seen or heard over the cult of personality BCash has always been.

r/btc

This is the worst part of the whole thing... the subreddit is literally named "r/btc" but here you have Ver specifically directing someone to buy BCH... If anybody else did this, they would also be labeled a scammer.

Not surprised... Fuck'em.

I had a chance last year to voice my displeasure with him and his tactics. Clearly nothing ever rings through his thick skull. He knows he's right and everyone else is wrong. He knows his coin is pure, so why listen to the peons who disagree. He knows he is the only one that can usher in the prosperity BTC Bitcoin can bring, so why  lose his resolve when challenged.

This was the final thing i said to him I believe. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.52474246

I don't care that you have an altcoin, I don't care that you want to piggyback off the Bitcoin (BTC) BTC name, but stop trying to force your will upon the world 1 newbie at a time, and own your project for what it is.

Still clearly incapable of owning his project for what it is.

The most surprising thing about all this is that the comments on the /r/btc subreddit calling Ver out for being a scammer have neither been downvoted in to oblivion nor deleted. Are even BCashers getting fed up of Ver's lying and manipulation?
They are falling apart now, and I hear Amaury Sechet is creating his own vision of bch  Cheesy

By the way, I actually tried buying BCH on local.bitcoin.com just for the hell of it a few months ago and I got scammed for about $40 if I remember correctly.
I also registered some time ago, but never did any trades, and I agree it is very user-unfriendly website.

That is probably the reason why this newbie Jimmy_Polka joined that r/btc not knowing it is in fact r/bch

When I was a noob back in 2014 I admired him, I kept my entire stash on blockchain.info (it was .info at the time).
I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him since he started all the nonsense surrounding the fork & I wouldn’t store a single sat on any wallet he owns.

He wants everyone to read Bitcoin Cash as Bitcoin. He is been doing it since the fork.
Yeah, and that's why those not in the know are confused about this shit.

By the way, I actually tried buying BCH on local.bitcoin.com just for the hell of it a few months ago and I got scammed for about $40 if I remember correctly.  The site is so user-unfriendly that I didn't realize exactly how I was supposed to do transactions and thus the first offer I saw was from a scammer and I fell for it.  I almost started up a thread in the Scam Accusations section, but I figured it wouldn't do any good since it was off-forum and I don't know how many people actually use that shitty website.

I have a visceral dislike of Roger Ver, which is a result of every video I've heard him speak on.  It's unfortunate that crazed morons like him get wealthy.  Sometimes I think it's only the sociopaths and others with serious personality disorders who make fortunes--and that's probably why I respect Warren Buffett so much.

The most surprising thing about all this is that the comments on the /r/btc subreddit calling Ver out for being a scammer have neither been downvoted in to oblivion nor deleted. Are even BCashers getting fed up of Ver's lying and manipulation? Do even BCashers wish that their mighty BCH overlord would just try to sell BCH as BCH, and let it stand on its own merits (ha!), rather than relying on fooling newbies who don't know any better to prop it up? (Although at its current all time low against the price of BTC at 0.023, maybe his lies are starting to lose their effectiveness.)

The most pathetic fact we are living with is - in a domain named Bitcoin.com he is shilling Bitcoin Cash.
Of course he is. As above, he knows fine well that BCH marketed* as BCH will appeal to nobody. His only trick is fooling people in to buying an altcoin thinking it is bitcoin.

*I say marketed because that is exactly what bitcoin.com does. Compare bitcoin.org - a hub of impartial information and resources - to bitcoin.com's "Buy bitcoin" banners, branded casino games, branded wallet, branded exchange, etc. The whole thing is ran as a business to make Ver money, which is exactly what it is.

This is nothing new. I think everyone at least one people getting scammed by Roger. Newbies usually trust dotcom domain than any other extension. As long as Roger has access to bitcoin.com domain, you can expect it to be happened all the times. He is a fraud.
