Salamat po sa thread na ito at na explain sa akin ano bang ibig sabihin ng merit na nakikita ko ngayon sa mga members nitong forum. Malapit pa naman nako mag full member, kaso baka hindi ko pala maa-attain mag rank up kung walang magbibigay sa akin ng merit, hindi pa naman nako masyadong online ngayon at nakakapag post dahil busy na.
Magandang ideya ito binago na ang systema sa pag rank up mababawasan na rin ang mga farm accounts ikakabuti na rin ito sa forum pero pahirapan na ito mag rank up, Di naman ako quality poster so hoping magkaka merits.
Quality at usefulness ng pinopost panigurado magkakaroon ka ng merit lalo na kapag maraming natulungan yung pinost mo o nagbigay ka ng positive at informative post dito sa forum. Hindi rin yan sa pahabaan o sa paramihan ng letra, quality over quantity. Mas okay na talaga itong merit system.
Salamat sa mahusay na paliwanag sa gumawa ng thread na ito nalinawan lahat ng nagtataka kung para saan yang merit points. Para sa akin mas gusto ko ito. Para maiwasan yung mapulahan sa account. Alam naman natin lahat na yan ngayun ang madalas na topic dito . Na karamihan ng pinoy ay nalalagyan ng ganyan pula. At sa ganitong paraan sana mabawasan ang mga abusado para di na tayu makutya ng iba.
lahat ng mga may merit pwedeng magbigay ng sMerit sa ibang members which is 1/2 ng total merit nila. Pwede mong makita either sa post mo mismo or sa merit page ng profile mo (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=965735).
Maganda ang bagong systema na ito sa aking opinyon kasi madami na talagang ginawa ng farm ang bitcointalk sa dami nilang alt accounts. Healthy ito para sa forum pero mahirap na talagang mag rank-up ngayon ang mga bago palang dito
Parang medyo mahirap na mag rank up ngayon. Maraming mga newbie ang titigil sa pagbibitcoin dahil sa bagong patakaran na ito.
This place is not the only source of Bitcoin... Actually, checking the patrol page, I don't see any difference... The number of posts in there doesn't decrease that much... So I think people are still here...
I have some question sir, is there any possibilities that this merit system may abused? how could they knows if some member here already abusing the system?

Hindi naman problema ang pag gain ng merit especially kung hindi ka naman farmer di ba? Hindi ako quality poster pero I am doing my best every time na nagpopost ako dito, I mostly use links and other information sources to answer some questions here and I don't think that is a good thing to do, but I am still doing it. Mahirap man mag pa merit but I think if we've been merited by someone, hahanap hanapin natin yun. That one merit will fuel us to make quality posts every single time na magpopost tayo dito sa forum. Oo mahirap mapansin sa dami ng quality posters dito sa forum, but I think let's just make them a model and hindi para i-discourage ang sarili natin na hindi natin kayang magpa merit at magpa rank up. Kung talagang gusto niyong kumita ng malaki, sa tingin ko makakaya niyo yun di ba? Ok na ako sa rank ko but I will also do my best to rank up and earn more digital currencies that I love to collect and save.
maganda sana tong bagong systema about sa merit, pero ang big question dito anung assurance namin na may magbibigay ng merit sa amin kahit super duper quality post na yung mga pinopost namin, it means, malaki ang posibilidad na mapako kami sa rank namin kahit pang legend na ung activity namin, dahil naka rely ang merit sa mambabasa sa forum na ito.

In addition to activity, everyone now has a merit score, and you need both a certain activity level and a certain merit score in order to reach higher member ranks. The required scores are:
You get merit points when someone sends you some for one of your posts. Additionally, when someone sends you merit points, half of those points can be sent by you to other people.
Certain users are designated as "merit sources". They can create new merit out of nothing, up to a limited number per month (which differs per source). I will not be posting a definitive list of merit sources (so that people don't bug them too much), though you'll soon figure out who they are if you pay attention.
There is currently no such thing as a "demerit". I'm hoping that the positive merits alone will be fine. I could add demerits pretty easily later on if necessary, though.
I'm hoping that this system will increase post quality by:
- Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
- Highlighting good posts with the "Merited by" line.
While we will not be directly moderating this, I encourage people to give merit to posts that are objectively high-quality, not just posts that you agree with.
The forum ranking system is a bit complicated now... It'd be nice if someone made an infographic explaining activity and merit.
If you want to be a merit source:
Collect TEN posts that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread.
Trivia:
For current members, your initial merit score is equal to the minimum required to your rank. Of that, a certain amount (less than the usual half) is spendable. The spendable amount was calculated based on your current rank and the number of activity points you earned in the last year. A Legendary member who hasn't posted in the last year would still be Legendary, but would not have any spendable merit.
If someone sends you 1 merit, the 0.5 sMerit is not wasted; it is just not shown until you get another merit point.

In my opinion maganda ang merit para maging quality laht ng post hindi lng post ng post pra magrank up ang account. pero ang tanong ko lang kpag ba wala nagbigay sayo ng merit hindi rin madagdagan ang points mo?

Pero pinaka naiisip ko dito pwede ka na bumili ng merits eh :/ baka gawing business talaga itong forums, paano naman yung iba na nagpopost talaga at informative. I hope magkaroon ng kusa yung iba na kapag informative yung post or nasagot yung tanong nila mag kusa mag bigay ng merit. Dahil to sa mga shtposters eh, sa totoo lang kaya ginawa yung system.. Sana wag na sila dumami.

sa tingin ko hindi din eh kase konte lang yung smerit na nareceived katulad ko 6 lang yung smerit ko. sobrang limited lang ng smerit kase di naman naeearn yung merit eh maliban nalang kung may mag bigay o merit source.

Saan mo nabasa na nag rerefresh monthly ang smerit? Hindi basta basta magkakamerit kase limited lang sya kung may mag memerit ng post mo. Pag naubos mo na smerit mo wala ka ng pwedeng ibigay sa iba maliban nalang kung merit source ka.

If the thread is good, why not... Pati posts, if okay and hindi "generic" If it's good, then it deserves merit, again you don't have to beg for it...
I think this is much better kesa tanggalin yung signature campaign mismo. at least kahit papaano meron parin tayong pagkikitaan. however pansin ko lang na mabigat to para sa mga Newbies at Full member going to Senior Member. ang lake kase ng GAP or need na merits. baka abutin pa ng 1 year bago ka maging Senior member if Full member na ikaw ngayon.
