some of them do just that, giving merit to another account. because if you see a post from those who get merit, their postings are sometimes just ordinary. but there are also posts that I consider it good and quality, do not get merit. I suspect that this is the performance of multiple accounts, or sendable merit of friends. therefore I assume that this merit system completely fails.

Hi everyone, I'm just sharing my curiousity about this merit issue. I'd noticed that all Jr. Member having their activity of hundredplus are not yet ranked up because of this merit requirement.

If you rank as Full Member, Sr. Member, Hero Member, Legendary and to the highest rank. Then you have hundreds and thousands of merits.
Is it possible to make another account in the same person? and,
Is it possible that your merit from your highest rank will give into your newbie account itself without sense of posting?
How will you manage all of this accounts?

It's just only my observation and opinion as day by day of browsing here and there in this world of crypto.
Just add if you have your own observation and opinion.

All your thoughts are very possible but it is very difficult  to prove this alleged, so my advice is to leave this out of your mind and just focus to  post constructively, maybe someday you will be rewarded by merits.

There is no issue here, you are looking for a quick and easy way to get to the top. There is no easy way and you will have to put in work to earn your rank, like any other activity in life.

The forum began to turn into a dump, so we had to use Merits. This is normal, otherwise the bounty would cease to be profitable, due to the huge number of participants who just want to gain. The forum needs an expert core of competent people, a kind of "get-togethers". To get into this is possible today, earning Merits.

The best way to earn Merits is to be yourself, to give yourself into the forum life, to participate in a two-way dialogue on the forum, but not in a one-way dialogue. Then all will turn out, and I'm the proof to it! I already become a "Member" and Maybe soon I will become a "Full Member".

If you really observed all these thing day-to-day, as you mentioned, you should know how merit system works here. You wouldn't create this thread. Anyway, yes anyone can have more than one account as that's not forbidden here. But the users are restricted to giving sMerits. If anyone try to abuse the system, I guess he/she will be tagged with DT members.

it can happen but if caught then you will get into trouble.
actually if Jr.Member is still allowed to follow the signature then there is no need for ambition to get reward because our goal here is to learn the world of cryptocurrency while looking for bounty gift

Though I do not have merit yet but from my observation if any one make a contribution that will be of benefit to the forum or an individual without any sentiment that person will receive merit. If you want merit make useful contribution.

Frankly, it seems to me that the system of merit has only created problems, and the only result has been to block people. However, as already mentioned, giving yourself merits is forbidden, and there are not so many in circulation.
Even the top members have some to give (and if they pass between them).
We hope that on higher floors they will make better decisions.

While this may be possible, many managers will ban people who use multiple accounts, and they may get negative feedback.
Try to post high-quality posts and replies, so you can get merit.

Well.. Being a junior member of this forum, How can I proceed to the next level without merit? What are the basis? How can I gain it? Is there anyone else could help us for what to do? Thanks
Merit is a new system and it will probably take time to earn merits. My first advice is Never to buy merit points from other users because this will results you getting banned from DT members.
Here some tips that can help you get some points:
- Create new meaningful topics with high quality and keep it updated but not with spammy posts.
- Have to know how to use the BBCode functionalities to make your posts look better and easy for readers.
- Read other replies before adding your comment to make a meaningful/useful post.
- Always check your post for spelling mistakes and try to always developping your skills in english if you are not a native user.

I found this post so helpful for you (and me as well)  Smiley

Briefly, I have 5 important advices for you. Hope you like them,  Grin

In order to receive merits and sMerits, you should do the following things:
1.1. Be as helpful as possible in the forum. Be helpful not equal to try being helpful. They are very different. Be helpful means you are ready to help others to solve their problems when you see it by chance. You should not pretend to be helpful, it won't help you.
1.2. Keep learning to get more experience. In IT area, particularly crypto-ecosystem, everything passed so fast, therefore you should keep learning continuously till the day before losing your last breath (just exaggeration).
1.3. Improving your post quality a little bit day by day, post by post, topic by topic. Over time, maybe one or two months, you will see big achievements (your posts might be more informative, more succinct, etc.)
1.4. Improving your English skills (even English is your native language). It is due to the fact that if you can not comprehensive understand what others wrote, you can help them; or if you write your threads in broken English, no one can understand them; then your threads will be likely useless.
1.5. Keep doing those steps continuously to form good post history, which can also help you to increase your opportunity to earn merits for good posts. Mainly because some users dont want to send their sMerits for someone who only write one good post but have bad post history with dozens of shitty posts.
Maybe more, I will update the thread with more details when ideas light up suddenly

Merit: You can get merit by making good posts and gift it to other when you think they made a good post.

In order to ranked up you will need to consider reading information about the merit system.

Making multiple accounts is unethical and against the rules of the forum. Doing this would result in you receiving negative trust and you would not be accepted in any campaigns. So, do not do that.
Yes ever since the merit was brought in, ranking up has become pretty hard and only the earlier adopters who had joined the forum back in 2013 and were fairly active have risen to the ranks of Legendary members. It is going to be really tough to rank in future.
But, if someone can prove to the forum that he/she is helping the community, I am sure our good moderators will help in giving merit. There are often merit giveaway threads where people give merit to quality posts.

Hehe hundreds and thousands of merits.

As the previous poster said, it is highly ill-advised to create multiple accounts. The forum mods and admins are strict when it comes to these and you will just end up getting banned. You have been warned. Don't try it.

- This topic does not belong to this board and you have to move it in Meta board or Beginners & Help or it may be deleted by moderators.
* This thread should be also helpful for you.

Hi everyone, I'm just sharing my curiousity about this merit issue. I'd noticed that all Jr. Member having their activity of hundredplus are not yet ranked up because of this merit requirement.
- This is pretty logic because of the new rules in rank requirements and here how to understand the new rules.

- Always keep in mind and never forget that it's not allowed to make alts and send merits to yourself (you will be quiqly tracked and get a negative red trust which will destroy your reputation)
