Look at what Ive found, smell something fishy here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=1603996

It seems like you have your own merit circulation, be careful on what you post, you dont even get a merit from english threads.

I can see that you are just making a BLOCK of threads and then merit yourself, those profile above has merit circle I know that you know what I mean dont act innocent.

i got my low number of merits for a few good topics and replies. and you`d better watch yourself, because your merits dont look good at all. and all your topics are about merit system, but you insist that you dodnt complain LOL. shi**y hypocrit
"At least my merit came from legit users" and I dont mind them by the way.

I read all of the reply and no one notice that this guy is a possible merit abuser and he's just one of those who really just want complain about merit system.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=1684585

That kind of merits are obviously fake maybe from friends or alts but anyway Im tired now so I will skip to add him on my reports list.

For the OP,
I have a suggestion to you, how about making a thread about "Forum Users Improvement" because I think there is really nothing wrong about the system but there are more wrongs about some members like you. I really dont want to be rude but you are creating a topic that dont fit to your account because you are one of those merit abuser.

By the way for sure if a DT member will see this/my reply there is a possibility for you to get tagged or get a warning. I hope you will not regret that you posted this topic Goodluck!

If you want merit, you should try and help people with their questions and problems. A long well thought out opinion piece is unlikely to earn you merit as opinions exist everywhere.
lets try this: i`ll write the usefull topic, that will help many people, and you will give me all your smerits. how do we know that the topic is useful? it will be useful because this topic will be about some important moments in trading that helped me to stop losing money and get stabe profit. these advices helped me, and as i`m just a human like many others, they will help them too.

How about instead of another thread aimed at earning you merit for your opinion, you actually find someone with a thread that needs help and provide them assistance like I am doing for you now?
because, as i said about the system disadvantages, most of the people cant merit me.

In my observations this forum is not all by myself anymore. Because of merit everyone is connected and no man is an island here. While merit is alive we are all partners. However, the disunity take place because of so called misunderstanding. The division between the members like and dislike merit is due to misbehavior of others or self criticism that leads to judgemental.
If you really believe of merit improvement then you must be careful of your ideas to write it down to avoid unnecessary words.

I understand you. The only one thing that I would change in the system is a decrease in activity (-14) per 4 weeks (14*2) provided that the account did not send at least 1 merit. Provided that this account has 10+ merits. I saw the accounts of high ranks that during the time of the work of the new system many times they did not give their merit to anyone. It would force the dead merit to move.

if you gave a good advise or decide a problem and member share to you merit its good , but to write a post for merit it dont good.

I can't barely understand you because of your broken English grammars. But I think you are giving a wrong advice to Sivainvest  Huh

just to rank up is WRONG. It has no difference from spamming the thread.

Thank you for your opinion and correction, I appreciate it. In the case my english is too broken, I will state it clear (I'll try at least) - I meant the opposite - to not post such things.

just for statistic.
http://prntscr.com/j3vp1b this is the maximum the good topic can get. (P.s. some of them are merit roulets, and other are just giveaways and some for the satoshi and admins) LOL
http://prntscr.com/j3vpf9 and this is how much can the user get for a long time (and again admins, roulets organizators and etc) even so, it`s barely enough for hero member, however, the different between theymos and other guy is enormous.
and you dare to say smth about good topics that definetely will be nicely merited

~snip~

If you agree and find it useful, you can share merit for me.

Found another one topic that has Jet Cash on it and he already ignored the OP for making this kind of topic about merit. We need some kind of magic if we want to stop this kind of topic made by people. They can use the merit thread by Theymos instead of making this new one.

Lets talk about your suggestion. You said that up to member rank should get merit per month basis. So up till Full Member is about 4.5 month, so if you put 20 per month, you will get 80 merit and only needs 20 merit more to be full member? Come on man, that is almost the same like old system, an automatic point. That system will (still) make a lot of alt account farmers. So, no for your suggestion, and that last part make it worse.

I would share Merit if I had but sorry, I entered forum 2 months later than it was needed.

But, your rank, when you reach it,  will be sort of more deserved then these joined before. Because before that you could just just post anything (like "What a great idea", "I agree with you") for the whole day and thats it, you get you rank when you posted " Smiley " enough times. Smiley

Please stop to beg merits! For the first, show what you can do for this forum and the community here, if you are useful in this forum your post useful and have enough quality, another members will give you merits without ask for it. So don't waste your time to make thread like this or this will be endanger your account.

I saw a bunch of topics that were very informative, especially for those who are new on the forum or in the cryptotrading. And what do we get? We get the following: old and experienced members dont find these topics informative or interesting, because they already know the most things that were told in them. But for newbies (not rank) these topics are the real treasure.

I believed this part is true. Yes, you are a right OP. I still believed that there are some posts out there made by newbies where it is very informative. But like what you said, high rank members don't find it interesting which is also true.
Let me tell you something, actually yeah some high rank members are sometimes (or often) not interested in topics made by Newbies, it is maybe because they already know what the topics discussed all about or they're not really interested. But actually, it doesn't matter if high rank members are not interested in a particular topic you made. It doesn't matter if you're post didn't even receive a single Merit although its a perfect symmetry. The most important thing is, you create a informative thread/posts to helps and educate your fellow newbies/beginners. Don't count how many constructive and informative posts you have made, instead, count those Members that you can be able to help. Sharing knowledge is the most important thing, even when Merit System is not yet implemented.

I'm sorry if I'm a little bit off topic but I hope you get what I'm trying to say.

If you agree and find it useful, you can share merit for me.
This made you a Merit beggar Sad
