Just to add that I am disappointed that Uncut Gems (2019) didn't get any nominations. Film was finally released via Netflix last friday, and i must say it's one of the best films of 2019, for me top 3 probably. I am not a fan of Adam Sandler, but he kicked ass in the role of self-destructive diamonds merchant, and imho he deserved the nomination for his role. Directors, brothers Safdie also deserved the nomination.

Well, it is still some time left... 2 more days  actually.

I'm curious though, why nobody else joined the contest.

I organized myself 2 merit giveaways in the Romanian board, but in 2 months only 1 applied. It seems very intriguing.

Ok for the best picture I think 1917 can win
Best director I think you are right too, even if I don't really enjoy "the Irishman "

If you are the only one to join the contest .. you will win the first prize by default  Cheesy

Hehe it seems I'm the first participant Smiley

I filed the first form, but when I wanted to fill in the second link you provided, I saw that all the cells in that Excel spreadsheet were already filled with my responses. Is this normal?

Regarding what movies I watched, I can mention The Irishman, Joker, Once upon a time in Hollywood and Avengers: Endgame.

Hi and welcome here  Wink

Merit are not made to be a reward for guessing the Oscar winners. How can you contribute to the forum if you win?
Better use some crypto as a reward. You can even make a pool so the participants can also contribute to the prize.

This is just a pure merit begging :

Quote
If this post is merited by people, I will use EVERY s-merits to increase the reward.

Quoted for reference, archived > http://archive.md/wip/VUOvj]

The forum is not only for people who want to talks about Crypto, that's what there is off topic sections.
Because I don't want to put crypto as a price and do not want to create a pool (to avoid "scamming" problems ) I put the contest here.
But I agree with you, if it was possible on my side I will have put some.

Like said in purple in the post  :
If the rules of this contest are against the rules of the section or if a section is more appropriate, feel free to PM me or inform me  and I will edit it  Smiley

If you and other people have the same feeling about the contest and I can understand that, I will remove the rules and just run a normal contest. That's not a problem for me and I hope you will join the contest too.

I wish you a good day
