Metawin's NFT mint date has been announced - December 10th!

And they're looking to give WL to folks who have played in metawin.com. If interested, form is still open
MetaWinners NFT Launch is imminent! More details to follow.

We have, however got a HUGE whitelist for the early pre-sale of 100,000+. We'd like reduce this to interested users.

If you've played for real on MetaWin and want in on the NFT W/L, apply here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdzbhPFZsZBlmAA5bjlAboKQeh2s1rUrpyOj-dzPv8sAxAiRA/viewform

In addition, it is said in other posts that skel/metawin will be buying back some 1/1's for 3-10ETH. Plus, expect some utilities of it in the platform like gated comps.

PS
Skel said in chat that $MWIN will come after the NFT. Few months back, I heard their meeting/s at token2049 went well. Let's see how it all folds out as alt season kicks. 🍻

Hello everyone, I have a question. I received an email from Metawin asking for some sort of KYC verification. I'm curious if anyone else has received a similar email? I wouldn't be surprised if it's legitimate, as Stake has already implemented this, but I just want to confirm if it's authentic. I’m actually trying to find the email now, but I can't seem to locate it, possibly because I've received a lot of promotional emails from Metawin.

Nothing from my end though that's probably because I've mostly used their web3. and only small amounts on custodial wallet. Were you on their custodial wallet a lot?

I wonder if you've tried using the search bar to search for the email in question? with the right keywords, I think, it should pop up real quick e.g. metawin kyc/verification, etc. Check the available search filters too.
Yes, I'm using their custodial wallet. I couldn’t find it in my email inbox, or maybe I just misread it - perhaps it’s from another casino. Since you haven’t received anything similar to my email, I guess I don't have to worry now as it shows that it’s still safe to gamble with Metawin even without KYC.
Well, it's also possible to check your spam box to be sure that the email in question is not there, I've in previous times received email which I opened through my notification log, read the email and then close it, and when next I returned to my mail box, I can't find the same email, only to later on discover that it was from my spam box that it showed up on my device notification log and I opened it from there.

But away from that now, the email is not as important as the site and what information you have on your account, if actually there is a need for you to pass kyc verification, it did reflect on your account, and if right now, there is no sign of such request from the site, then you can play on, but better still is to contact the casino's customer care service for thorough inspection and better information.

Yeah, could be from another casino. As far as mandatory KYC is concerned, nothing has been announced about it. And metawin is still pitching their more relaxed KYC policies. I believe Skel plans to keep it for as long as he can. Few months back, they moved to anjouan gaming from Curacao GCB license -- curacao consolidated their regulatory bodies/underwent some changes thus, they turn to anjouan which is said to be more welcoming to web3 tech.
They did not turn their KYC policy even after the hack months ago, so they will possibly maintain this KYC policy on their platform, until something happens with regulations that force MetaWin team changing their ToS, and AML/ KYC policy.

I would recommend the web3 wallet whenever you can use it as oppose to their custodial wallet. They do advertise it as zero friction so they won't halt your withdrawal to ask for a verification -- the 24 hour withdrawal limit applies.
Use Web3, open source, non custodial wallets is good because you have more controls than using custodial wallets. With custodial wallets, we know that after we fund it, our money no longer belong to our control, but belong to a platform we deposit our money to. Risk of losing money is high with many reasons that you don't know which one will come to your account and your fund.

Rest assured Metawin is not strict when it comes to enforcing KYC with players since it promotes web3 which is known for being decentralized.

You can encounter KYC verification in rare cases here if ever your account show some violation nevertheless you don’t need to worry if you are just a normal gambler. You should use the web3 feature using non custodial wallet for quicker way of accessing the casino instead the manual login using email and OTP.

Currently playing Sweet Bonanza and everything is fine at my end. Tried to look at their social media channels to see if there's certain issue just like what you have mentioned but I guess no problem exist so maybe there's an issue at your end that's why you encounter that loading issues.

Maybe simplest thing you can do is to clear cache your browser since maybe this one could able to solve your issues or  try to update your browser.

Don't know if this will work at your side, but try then see the result.

Yes, I realized it was that. At first I thought it was only with the live games but when I tried to play slots that I had played before I saw that I had the same problem. I cleared cookies and it didn't work, and finally I changed browser and I could play. Live games and slots.

Is anyone else having problems loading the live casino? It stays as if it was going to load, the screen goes blank, then goes back to black, and does not load. My connection is good and I have no problems accessing anything else on the internet.

Lol. Earlier when I talked about the subject I forgot to talk about that, the possible import taxes, which in the case of Bangladesh are crazy. I guess it's protectionism so that people don't care. I have asked ChatGPT how much I would have to pay to import the Bugatti there and it gives me a total of:

Now tell me if you were surprised or not. Even if someone is a millionaire and has enough money to buy a couple of cars, they think twice before they think to import one. But you know, some people have black money that they earned through corruption; they can afford anything. I can buy a couple of cars in other countries. But I wouldn't dare to buy one in my own country just because of these ridiculous VAT and taxes.

Why are taxes on car imports so high in your country? Bangladesh is a developing country, its population is 173 million people and there are only up to 5 million registered cars, which means that there aren't many cars in your country, the car ownership is 1:35, which is too low. Logically, your government should be helping people to buy cars because it significantly helps people to move better.

I don't know, brother. Cars and some other things have become luxurious in my country even though they are almost mandatory in other countries. If I am not wrong, a poor family in the USA with bad financial conditions has a garage and its own car. I guess you understand we don't. Back to the topic, I still think the casinos will always offer cash instead of the car.

Didn't receive an email like that but if you are doubting about that KYC request you receive and its legitimacy I guess the best thing you could do is to ask their support a question towards that matter to verify if they are the one asking this information.

Try to ask this on their discord since usually they are active there https://metawin.com/contact-us/

Be careful on impersonators since there are people replicate the name of their representative including Skel to scam people.

But for ordinary guys for sure we know its expensive to acquire and main those supercars so the only option people could ever had is to sell immediately the Bugatti if it happens that they are the one who can get that bounty.

Did you mean “maintain”?

Even so, if you are going to sell the car it is going to be better to get the title on tokens than to have the car shipped to you and you physically sell it. It will be easier for you. Although the only good thing about receiving the car would be that you would at least get a few turns before selling it.

Just for acquiring the supercar but the receiver always have an option to tokenized and sell it.

Is it easy to sell tokenized cars? Who will want to buy it, what will be the use case and benefit of it for the buyer? This is what I don't understand. Does selling tokens mean that the ownership goes to the new buyer? Who will send the car to the owner then? Sorry, I'm confused.

Let's see, I don't know much about that market either, other than what I've read about it. In the case of the car I think it is easier to sell it tokenized if you sell it 100% and that way the person who buys it from you can receive the car. In other types of investments it makes more sense to split them to sell them in pieces if you expect the price to go up. In the case of the Bugatti, if potential buyers believe that the price may go up over time (contrary to what happens with 99% of cars), they may be interested in buying tokens without getting 100%..

But think that the potential buyers of a $4.5 million car are very few anyway. In any case I think it is always easier to sell it tokenized, and if you live in countries like Bangladesh is that it is the only feasible way to receive it.

We don't have an idea about this since we never tried it  Cheesy. But for sure we would see some updates if there;s good development happen on the task and bounty offered by Skel to those people who can do those task what he want.

Also curious about upcoming promotion in this season. Just saw other casino offering nice promotion for this month, but Metawin didn't post anything yet. But let see since for sure we will just get an update on X or any social media which they usually post their new updates.

Skel offers another option. He can tokenize the ownership of the car and the winner can sell the tokenized title if they want but does anyone know how tokenization works? If he tokenizes it, does it mean that the new owner owns the car on Blockchain? How easy will it be for the new owner to sell a tokenized car? I'm a newbie in this. Despite the fact that I don't know a hacker and can't win the money, I'd really love it if someone explained this tokenization thing that Skel talks about in his tweet.

From what I understand, yes, this is the case. But the most interesting thing about that is that by tokenizing it you can sell it for parts. If 1000 tokens are made and you want money but not to sell it all you can sell 100, and you still own 90% of the car. With the car you don't, you either sell it or you keep it but you can't sell 10% of the car.

Digital asset tokenization is the process whereby ownership rights of an asset are represented as digital tokens and stored on a blockchain. In such cases, tokens can act like digital certificates of ownership that can represent almost any object of value, including physical, digital, fungible, and non-fungible assets.

Don't you need to officially register the ownership in your region? Okay, I'll read it in detail.

Imagine when you are an ordinary guy, you win it and the condition is that you either accept the car or not. You don't have money to afford the shipment because you go to the bank and the bank doesn't give you enough loan to import the car and pay taxes. Has that ever happened? That would be the luckiest and unluckiest person at the same time Grin

I don't think that will happen in any of the contests. Especially organizing on the internet. But if it happens, I don't think it would be too much trouble for people living in developed countries. But if they live in 3rd world countries like mine, then they know that they are fucked up. The tax on imported cars in my country depends on the CC limits, which could be up to 500%. Imagine you won a car worth $50K, and you have to pay $250K tax. Would you receive that car? I don't think so. See the image below to understand what I am talking about. This is the main reason why most people in my country usually do not dare to import a car.

High car import duties increase the price of everything inside the country because distributor companies have to pay lots of money and they pay for that by increasing the price of the product and services.
In my country, car import tax is 20%.

I remember during the cybertruck competition which was tokenized as well. The winner gets to choose whether they want the prize to be delivered or the cash equivalent of it especially if they're in some faraway place. So I've always thought if you choose the latter, the NFT will be transferred to metawin in exchange for giving you cash. That's just my theory though. 😅

It's also worth noting that this cybertruck was on-chain so by tokenizing, winner could receive the prize/sign of ownership in a way, instantly. This aligns with metawin web3 ethos as well.
