Holes or pieces of soil/dirt?

You may wonder why the soldier is walking on top of the wing..  there is plenty of space next to it.  Huh
If you zoom in on the picture you can see there are stones and mud on the wing. the dirt likely came from his shoes. On the bottom left there is a large black spot, which is probably from an explosion.

I think a bomb is more likely, given the location where it happend - but it could have been a missle.

That's clearly dirt and not any holes  Roll Eyes

When there is no holes, the only one way is the bomb on board.

Still waiting on pictures with holes.

Holes could be added later

Have you more question, why OSCE people become not "FULL ACCESS" to put some shit on crime scene?

ICAO is still not there, why?

Haven't heard of this air-air missile theory yet but Alex Jones and company have an interesting take on it now.

MALAYSIAN FLIGHT FALSE FLAG EVIDENCE REVEALED
Neocons and their state-run media would have us believe the case is closed

Less than 24 hours after the devastating attack that downed Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17, Neocons and their state-run media would have us believe the case is closed…before an investigation has even been launched. We break down the repetitive false-flag narrative.

Holes could be added later when plane crashed and also on that photo that you showed is soil. Even air-air missile could reach it's target from lower point so it could have hit plane from lower part.

Missiles doesn't fly on straight line, most models aims for the heat generated by the jets.
From bottom up is plain old WW2 AA systems...
BUK is with radar.

it is still uncertain who fired it and why

Concentrate about place, where jet was hit. Who can launch missile or hit with air-air missile there?
This place is deep under Kiev control, and no Russian Federation military jets are seen there.
Any BUK from Donetsk or Russian Federation can hit Malaysian aircraft in that dot.

I think it's possible that it was a missile. But if it is in fact a missle, it is still uncertain who fired it and why. To start a war over this, would have the same catastrophe as the 9/11 situtation (financial crisis), as in .. it costs a lot more than the event itself.

Of course, the airplane didn't fly around the Ukraine - this is the cheapest route, and airplane personal never cared about its customers in that way. They often fly with too few fuel, a lot of corruption in the industry.
