The Internet and Bitcoin are tools of direct P2P interactions, which bypass the intermediary of The State. There is a nonzero possibility that the use of these tools (and others) may bring about a vast change in the social order, perhaps leading to the demise of the nation-state.

These micronations may be good laboratories for experimenting with new social order. At this point in time, with various nation-states claiming dominion over every square millimeter of the planet, we have little choice in this endeavor than in creating overlapping jurisdictions.

The more experiments, the better.

I'll agree with franky1 on one point - if you are abiding by the dictates of another entity, then by definition you  not a sovereign nation. But demeaning this endeavor by calling the participants kids and such is merely hateful.

Incidentally, the American plan was that each and every individual was to be sovereign. This is encoded within our founding documents. That hasn't quite worked out in practice.

People may start creating decentralized states, declaring independence over his property. Some kind of distributed land. Something like public domain for stuff.

im sorry but cryptopaths please realise that riso2015 is nothing like your project.

riso has just named his le house a nation...  that is all. but it still complies with laws of the government. making it not a nation. cryptopath your project or idea in antarctica is more of a 'nation' plan, and not the game that riso is playing.. his use of import/export. is not about moving stock between countries. its simply getting a bottle of ketchup mailed to him via UPS or USMAIL. and him simply calling it importing as it sounds good. he has no practical sense of the words true meaning, so dont delve too deep into a partnership..

Well if this is the case why try talk to talk down on my nation? Though it may not seem like we do, our nation does in fact have imports/ exports with other smaller micronations like mine. For these transactions we use bitcoins, at the moment these transactions are pretty small however given time and support from the bitcoin community I'm 100% sure it will grow.

your a imaginary country/social group.. you have no formal and persistent claim separating yourself from the rule of US government.

if someone broke the law/rules of your family group. you cannot detain or inprison them. as they would just dial 911 and get you arrested for holding them hostage.. you have no authority that is equal to another government. you have no powers to repel government, and you certainly dont have th knowledge to even get 10% claim of being a micronation. you are one of those utopian dreamers that watched maybe 5 you tube videos and then went out playing a game with friends.

treat what i say as some motivation to actually learn the truth of reality to later prove me wrong by later being a separate nation that does not follow acts of other nations.. if you do not wish to take that step, then stay under the umbrella of US government laws and acts and just accept your a imaginary country/social group, and just be contempt and happy with that lifestyle.

Navismaris is a micronation and there is very little you can do or say to change that. You can accept it or you can't. I'm not really sure what you are trying to accomplish but its getting kind of old now.

franky1 if your so upset that we consider ourselves a micronation you don't have to keep replying. I use the word sovereignty meaning jurisdiction. (Sovereignty being a synonym)
