StoneCoin team wish to clarify the future of our project.
First of all: we don’t give up and we don’t disappear. Our team consists of qualified programmers and advertising specialists and will continue to develop StoneCoin.
Unexpected success of our project at the start called some kind of rethinking as well as changing of our plans. If originally we supposed the hasteless start-up during several months, now we are confronted with a liability to accelerate the achievement of defined goals.
As a result team members that previously thought to combine the project development with their main work will change their place of work and will work on StoneCoin only. So we will focus our efforts and accelerate the StoneCoin development.

Second, we have to be honest. On the start we ran up against an “attack 51%”. Miners could see it when all pools had orphan blocks. The unknown man made his own pool with modified wallet: this wallet didn’t accept blocks from others. When the modified pool had more power than the other Stone net, it rejected the blocks found on the other pools. So the attacker gathered all rewards for found blocks.
We didn’t find the decision for this problem. We have certain ideas but we need some time to implement them. If you have recommendations for us you can share them with us in discord channel
#stonedevelopment. You are welcome!
At this time we are developing the StoneCoin according our renovated roadmap. Also we are working on rebranding - the initial style is not glamorous as we wish. The StoneCoin site will be shown when the new style will be developed.
Good to see the thought going into getting this all sorted out. One thing I would suggest is that the rebrand included a name change. You have a name used by another coin and they posted their coin name first so it is down to you. Plenty of other good names you can use. You probably should setup POS and set it so they 3 things POW, POS and MN are about equal. This will help deal with the 51% problem I think.
With the wallet, a fast initial sync is always well received. Just need to ave a download rather than piecemeal from hundreds of sources which is really slow.
Please also state clearly if you are having an airdrop or not, I keep seeing people posting addresses for airdrop, why are they doing that?
