Does it launch? As shown above I couldn't even get my version to launch the miner :-( I'll try this maybe tonight maybe this weekend.

You can't get working your binary-not-compiled-but-copied version right? Try that I posted it should work.

Correct - I haven't tried the version you posted but a version I had compiled on an Arch Linux RPi.
I will try the version you posted next, but I have to be home to change the SD card on the pi running my SHA miners.

Tried CGMiner and bfgminer that are included by default, it looks like BFGMiner has more luck currently than the default CGMiner but I was unable to get either running for longer than 30 seconds to a minute before the blades stopped flashing, although minera still detected them via the UI.

I would definitely be willing to check out a RK-BOX minera binary though, this would be awesome!

May be nwools can give us some hints on this? In the meantime I'm compiling the cgminer fork for RBOX but I really like much more that the official BFGminer works like it should do.

Here is the Cgminer fork for Rockminer, just drop it into the minera-bin/ directory and use CGminer official as preferred miner: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/968241/cgminer-rockminer/cgminer

Please let me know.

Not sure if this has been asked (couldn't find it) but does Minera support SHA256 and Scrypt mining on the one instance? I have a Raspberry Pi, GAW Fury's, Gridseed 5-chips and Drillbit 8-boards (SHA256), I'd like to run them all off the rpi with the one Minera instance. Is this possible?

The r-box cgminer is a different version and so far we get this error.

Code:
minera@minera ~ $ /var/www/minera/minera-bin/cgminer
/var/www/minera/minera-bin/cgminer: error while loading shared libraries: libudev.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Also, it might be a problem because I compiled the damn thing on Arch not Raspbian.

Michelem - do you have a version compiled on Raspbian? Does that make a difference?

Does MinerA now support Rockminer devices for the mining of BitCoin? Specifically interested in the RK-BOX as MinerA is by far in my opinion the best controller software out there.  Thanks in advance!

BFGminer should support it so you can give a try. Please let me know I'm really interested on what hardware you can run with Minera.

BFGminer does not work as well as the rockminer version of cgminer...would LOVE to see it added...

https://github.com/rockminerinc/cgminer-for-Rocket-box

Can I give you the binary compiled to test with Minera? You have only to overwrite it on minera-bin/ directory and use cgminer (official) when you select your preferred miner.

If it runs well I will add it on next release.

I've switched back to LUNAR LANDER CONTROLA for my fury.

They're just to many problems with it atm for me.

I will test more once bugs are fixed etc but imho, it is not stable enough for me.

Was worth a shot, and thank you for your time with it, michelem.

I am guessing need advance ppl with fury's to find out what the problems are.

I'm getting the dashboard warning - It seems your minerd is not running, please try to start it or review your settings.

If I look at the miner real time log, its actively mining.  I can even launch the screen session its running under and see bfgminer running like a champ.

It was previously working before I tried to clear the stats as per the commands in this thread, but after a reboot it doesnt seem to bring up the dashboard anymore Sad

Ok turns out after waiting awhile and restarting my browser the stats finally came up.  I would recommend that instead of a warning indicating minerd isnt running, it would be nice to instead say something to the fact of not enough stats gathered or something...otherwise needless troubleshooting to fix a problem that doesnt exist!

Otherwise so far really liking the product, playing with the settings and getting to understand it, like it very much, thank you!

It should show up right away as running. Mine does after I restart the miner service.

Here's my compiled CGminer for R-Box. (R-BOX, not RK box, not R3 box. The ~30GH units)

I've been using it with minepeon with much success but I love the interface of minera quite much - If I have time at home tonight I'll try to add this to Minera and see how well it runs.

Can you post details about this either in the BFGMiner thread or in the BFGMiner issues on GitHub? Note that the hash-rates reported by CGMiner (according to Luke, I'm just the messenger) are not accurate.

Thanks in advance - just want to make sure we're taking care of any outstanding issues!

It does if official version of CG\BFGMiner does.

Is there a way to reset the stats?  I wanted to "zero out" the graphs in between various test runs I'm doing using minera.

well, if you mean the charts, you can reset them with these commands:

Code:
redis-cli del minerd_delta_stats
redis-cli del minerd_totals_stats
redis-cli del minerd_avg_stats_86400
redis-cli del minerd_avg_stats_3600
redis-cli del minerd_avg_stats_300
redis-cli del minerd_stats

Yep!  That's what I was looking for!  Cheers mate!
