Works, thank you! (=

You are welcome, glad it works!

And, hey guys, today Minera is 1 year old! Happy birthday Minera! Smiley

Congrats! It's made a beautiful development over this year. I remember installing the first version with my "good" old Gridseeds.

What a nice milestone! I bet it's awesome to look behind and see what you've accomplished so far. This is probably the best mining software/companion there is! Thank you and keep it up.

Congratulations! Cheesy

Is there any way to get minera running on a windows pc? I found the network miner section, great!

It requires at least a Ubuntu/Debian system, you could try with a VM under windows, when you have your VM ready follow this: https://github.com/michelem09/minera/wiki/Getting-started#manual-install

Code:
[2015-05-05 16:00:43] Started cgminer 4.9.1
[2015-05-05 16:00:45] Need to specify at least one pool server.

But the pool is correct! 100%

Ah ok, you need to turn on the option "Append JSON conf (-c /var/www/minera/conf/miner_conf.json)" in the settings page

EDIT: oh well, I saw a possible bug, if you have "manual" config insteadd "guided" one, you need to put this option in the manual textarea, because you don't have the "Append JSON conf" toggle:

Code:
-c /var/www/minera/conf/miner_conf.json

My minera dashboard is not loading with data. Only cycles...

If you updated from a previous version run these commands in a SSH terminal:

Code:
redis-cli del altcoins_update
redis-cli del altcoins_data
redis-cli del dashboard_coin_rates
redis-cli del cryptsy_data
redis-cli del cryptsy_update

Then wait a couple of minutes, go to settings, check you have at least 1 altcoin selected and SAVE.

If this doesn't work, please start from a fresh 0.5.0 image file http://getminera.com/download/latest

ok guys i m having trouble with minera 5 after recent changes:

My setup
Rpi
SD card (to boot Rpi only)
USB drive (for Wheezy + Minera)
USB hub (with Gridseed orbit + GAW furys)

after recent installation with above setup my usb hub is not getting detected and in result Minera shows no devices attached. however it detects network miners but not the local miners; no matter whatever setting (pre-configuered) and the binary i choose no local devices could be found

any advise?

EDIT: following is connected with the RPi output via "lsusb"

http://prntscr.com/6zuh51

bumping it sorry but i need to fix this thing

Hub seems to be found correctly don't know what to suggest you, is it a fresh install from image file? Can you try with only one hub connected?

yes fresh installation, it worked well with hub once i detach usb drive but entire minera file system is on USB instead of SD card BTW i followed this articlle to move my file system to USB drive https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=44177

The problem could be that, I really don't have time to look well at that guide, but it seems it overrides USB configs, so please use an SD Card and the standard Minera image file on it, otherwise I cannot give you any support.

when you install latest minera 0.5.0 on your raspberry pi 2 model b what options are enabled in your default cgminer Huh

I would like to know is --enable-bmsc enabled Huh

thank you

Just look this line

https://github.com/michelem09/minera/blob/master/build_miner.sh#L40

No it's not enabled, you must re-build cgminer
