..Alot? lol

The Alot is an imaginary creature that I made up to help me deal with my compulsive need to correct other people's grammar.  It kind of looks like a cross between a bear, a yak and a pug, and it has provided hours of entertainment for me in a situation where I'd normally be left feeling angry and disillusioned with the world.

P2Pool. No DDOS. No central wallet. No pool fees. Miners split transaction fees. As reliable as your own hardware.

same here.. p2pool!

How much on average do you earn from a pool in a day?

On 300 m/hashes, 0.04 of a bitcoin per day (runnign 24/7) or about 5 cents. Not a lot.

How much on average do you earn from a pool in a day?

That depends entirely on your hardware's hashing power.

I only mine as a hobby, and only when im on my computer. I'd be using the electricity anyway. Its probably not economical to mine full time though (would have to know your hardware and electricity costs and such. There is a calculator somewhere ^^)

Is it really beneficial to start mining with a pool? If it is what kind of return can you expect with commodity hardware? I know it's pretty much useless to do on my own with my current hardware.

Started with P2Pool then changed to BTCGuild

Why? Why did you change from the no fee pool to the high fee pool?
