A lot was scamed too, so I'm sure it was worth it for them!

Seems like a lot of work for a scam. Call me a fool but I am still holding out myself. Although I am resigned to the fact that yeah we're probably boned & thrown money away.

The odds of this not being a scam are equal to Vanuatu winning a football World cup.

I own 7 shares which is worth 1.04 BTC at that time.

It is my first time to invest in a bitcoin service..

If it is not a scam i hope the representative from minershare can stand out and say something.

What is badly missing in this Bitcoin community is a Coindesk article titled : Two bitcoin scammers clubbed to death by enraged John Doe, supposedly "investor" in scam.

I have 6 shares, no refunds/ no answers, faith in humanity destroyed 

I have order one share, and i paid btc to the account. i have email, skype, and even message mineshare in this forum and i still cannot get them to reply. I seriously hope this is not a scam. Their site has been down, those who bought the share have they got confirmation of their share? I am really panic now.

So i've analyzed the passport that was sent and there are som inconsistencies in the fonts. It looks like the names have ben put on after the photo was scanned in.

The passport on the left has a much clearer typewriting on the name part than the one on the left. On the second picture i have embossed it and enlarged it, and you can clearly see that the font :have a different shade than the rest of the image. On the right on they have all the same shades.

English spelling of Russian names is phonetic, the original spelling is Cyrillic.  (So try alternate spellings)  The middle name, if the guy is Russian (last name), is always a patronymic, which "Juhani" ain't.
That said, i'm pretty sure it's a fake name, no matter how you spell it or what the middle name is.
