The devs are making us play with MNX (no clear indication as to how it goes from MNX to MNC) .
And the alleged "minex wallet" is called Xcoin

I also am confuse to figure out what is the original ticker is for the token. Some people are using MNX while others use MNC when they talk about tokens anything. Though testnet is being done and many people are participating to help in testing but this thing is getting more uncertain. I hope op will through some light on this issue to make it clear once for all.

They have desktop wallet too I didn't know till reading your post. All I know it is being tested after what ICO campaign saw a successful closing. They had plans to release but it has been prolonged due to continuous testing. The conversion will take place in few days it is guessable now seeing all what is happening.
