I think that 500-1000$ is a minimum for a successful trading career. Less is still OK but it is only suitable to learn how exchanges work.
500 is too big if OP new in this business. if he already know, he wouldn't ask how much minimum coins to trade. it is better to start with little capital first, at least he can know how market work. and after train his mentally, he can use bigger capital to trade
I think 500-1000$ is a decent amount to start trading, so you can really see the change of your capital and wont make you bored.
If youre an unexperienced trader, just learn with a paper trading/demo first.

if you are a beginner then do a little purchase and do the purchase in stages consistently, I also make a bitcoin purchase for $ 5000, and you should be able to start from $ 1000 first.

I will not agree with you, bro. Now, this is the perfect time to come to the market with any sum of money. You can start even when you have less than 50 dollars: simply try to deal with the penny alts.

If you ask questions like these then you can start with bitcoin of 0.01 and if at ethereum is 0.1 ethereum I think this is also the way to earn a great deal when you start this investment.

big or small is relatively dependent on our experience. if we are still being advised, it does not need capital to reduce our losses later, including 500 $ is too big

One year ago i started my trading with 0,1 btc...Now i have approximately 1,5 btc in various altcoins (considering that the market was bear last 8 month)
it's amazing, cryptocurrency does change our lives for the better,
with the patience and perseverance we want achieved.
I also started with the results of faucet and bounty, finally the dream was realized, keep the spirit and hard work.
Starting trading is a very big achievement because trading is hard responsibility to handle everything with proper decisions and especially trading in the crypto market is more complex because currency or coin here is valuable and it hurts a lot when you lose it. In order to get rid of loss you need to learn first after which you will be on the right path of getting profits and profits with any starting amount.

I think there are no minimum numbers. You can start as much as you like. I joined the invest with only 0.01btc, and then I am increasing in number. Until now, it is a loss Cheesy
That is right. It is a subjective topic and also depends on the term of your investment. Are you a long term investor or a short term investor? Depending on the term of investment, you can invest in your desired coin. Bitcoin can be owned even in fractions and one can buy half of Bitcoin as well. Same goes for some other coins but keep in mind if you invest too low and if the price crashes, you can possibly loose your coins if they are in fraction.

Start with a small capital, you are just beginning to trade, don't take much risk investing much money. I think 0.01 btc is enough for starting capital, it should be good start, the important part is that you will learn while trading, trying to adapt new things

You should have a minimum of $ 500 to start trading. Because too little of this you will not have much profit, and you should choose the big floor like Binance, HitBTC, Bittrex ...

Minimum amount to start trading should be based on our own financial condition. We should not force ourselves to use the same amount suggested by others because $500 can be so big amount for others as well as can be so small for some other people. We know our own limit, in the beginning of trading we should think more about learning than think about gaining profit.
you are right what are the best choice of it is just by may having the good amount to start any amount are profitable as long as you know that this coin that you may chose for are profitable also , just for having the chance of having some profit and also even that this is really hard to predict for this is were also that your way of choosing the best coin are may even have to test for.

with the amount of $ 500 I think can be used as one amount for trading because the nominees have been able to find potential coins including altcoin new which has low price and high potential.
well i feel it is a big enough fund for me. Well, $ 500 is more than enough money to become a trader. well, you can start with it, but I prefer to try with minimal money, because being a trader is very risky.

I started trading with a small amount of 1000 dollars, compound percent with skillful trading makes an incredible result. Another thing, be able to trade correctly. If you take arbitrage, then I would advise you to have from 10k dollars, otherwise commission will kill all profit

I was wondering what's minimum / ideal amount of BTC or ETH I should have in order to start trading activity

If you have any idea or just want to share your first experience in crypto trading, feel free to write them bolow
Right amount to start will be around $1000 of each, I have started that my way. But also I know many guys who have started successfully from the bigger amount as well as from the smaller amounts.
