Bitcoin android mining isn't relevant, it's too complicated. If you want to make a mining on your phone, you can try this coin: Electroneum (ETN). Seriously, you need a powerful asic and a video card to do the mining.

Even laptops are not good for btc mining because they can't handle the temperature. If you try to mine on android phone that will end with a broken phone and nearly no money for mining.

I’m a complete beginner with this , does anyone have any tips for apps to mine bitcoin through android phones? I read various stories on doing this, some not so great but thought I’d give it a try
You can mine bitcoin using your smartphone but i think it would consume you so much time to earn at least 0.0001BTC but there's a project here in the forum that is a new type of mining where in you can mine through your mobile phone and not using any GPUs or any other mining equipment.

You can read this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/start-mining-mib-coin-on-your-smart-phone-5120083 and study it... I haven't tried it yet but it seems that it's legit

Which mining app allows you to mine btc? Afaik, there isn't any. Even those high rate miners are no longer sufficient, what do you expect from mobile devices.

No Android device is good for mining, not even the latest S10+ mobile from Samsung and the reason is simple , no mobile device is designed to handle a lot of heat which is generated from the mining process.

Mining will only kill your device in a very short amount of time for pennies.

I don't know either, but I only could suggest him not to use his mobile devices to mining. He can try to use apps for mining electroneum, but I don't know how much he will get because I never tried before. I care for my mobile, and I don't want to see my mobile is damage.

Don't do it if you don't want to see your android phone can damage. Your phone will be getting hot, and even it can blow in any second. We don't suggest mining on an android phone, and it's not worth it. Maybe you can try to mining using your computer but not using your laptop because it's the same as you used the phone.

But right now, you cannot get much reward from the mining if you don't have big power to mining.

I doubt if there are even 'legit' mining apps available for mobile devices, using it and damaging device is later thing.

Most people would agree that mobile mining is not worth it. When factoring in high energy costs potential data fees and low computing power, mobile mining is a very difficult inefficient way to earn cryptocurrency.

While we will likely see some advancements in mobile/tablet computing power and functionality of mobile mining apps, it still appears that mobile mining will be no match for traditional mining for the foreseeable future.

I once upon a time by the way tried mining on Android. For the experiment. MTK processor 8 cores, the speed is negligible, but heated so that you can burn. It's completely pointless.
MTK is much hotter processors than Snapdragon so it is not surprising.

It is a pity that the mining on the phone does not make sense, and then at least use it could be that he worked out the funds invested in it

The stories you read are probably cloud mining which tells that we can mine bitcoin or it is a faucet type but that has a difference on mining btc. You need to have tool such as GPU and a power energy source to do this which I think phones can't probably cant supply unless someone integrate it on the mobile but that would be useless.

I heard this project Taucoin which is planning to build a mobile app mining and I guess they have potential to pulled it off using a different consensus protocol. But for btc not possible or never will using POW.

You sure can mine BTC or any nearly any other alt with your phone, but the problem is it's just not going to be profitable at all. All phones have terrible heat dissipation due to a lack of active cooling, and you're not doing your phone a favor by mining on it. If you're trying to mine alts, though, your PC is likely going to perform better than a phone at mining, though you'll have to take into account what hardware you have and your electrical rates to determine whether or not you're profitable or not.

If you have a laptop, do not mine with that either. Laptops are also generally crap with heat dissipation, not worth your time.

if I had merit I'd definitely send this post some.

maybe in the future we'll have some chance of seeing phones preparred for "micro-mining" or no way it's gonna happen?

Definitely not for bitcoin mining but maybe for altcoins, if I'mnot wrong XTL had a project like that.

regarding OP question:
Please, just don't do it.
better to buy some bitcoin or invest in a couple of Rigs.

But POS can be mined on the phone for some coins that have a full wallet for the phone, but you need to download the blockchain. There was such a coin TX, there was such an opportunity.

There's no way you could mine bitcoin over your android phone, do not believe on some scammer who says it's possible to mine bitcoin on your android. Even the famous ETN mobile mining isn't actually a mining.

I think you have false information. You cannot mine Bitcoin using your mobile phone. More powerful equipment is required for mining.

No way you can mine bitcoins with your android phones, such scammy claims are outdated.Even the use of graphic cards ,first and second generation ASIC mining hardwares(special circuits designed specifically to mine bitcoins) are almost obsolete. You phone are far too inefficient to handle the degree of computation power to mine bitcoins

By stories, I bet you've heard of "Browser-based mining" and "Mobile miners",
but any of these aren't really "mining" per definition.

If you're too enthusiastic to try it, here's some info:
  • You can actually earn a few satoshi (uBTC) by visiting faucets that offer "Mining" using your browser (though, almost all known faucets removed this feature).
  • Or try one of the most famous "mobile mining" gimmick ever created to earn a few centavo-value ETN (Electroneum);
I don't want to link to avoid advertisement, just google search the keywords (I bet that this is the one that you've heard over the internet).
