this is a good idea, we know precedents when hackers hacked phones and obtained crypto currency through them, but this crypto currency was not intended for extraction on the phone, and if you create a coin specifically for the phone, it will be a success

I think that this currency will be of interest to everyone, but if the UNO will bring a good profit, then the capacity of the network will grow very much and the extraction from the phones will become impossible

Does anyone else think that you can earn something on your mobile phone? It's just not real! OMG people

Mining is possible on a mobile phone. However, it is probably very difficult to earn something. The battery will not last long when the phone is at its highest speed. For high costs in relation to profits and it is easy to damage the phone.

Well Electroneum presented that one, now what happened? No mining app yet and the difficulty is so high. Mobile Phones are not good for mining there is also a malware that mines using your phone and destroys your phone. Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley
The mining app is already out since 1-2 months. It is not real mining, but a simulation of mining. But it gives real ETN. You should see it as an airdrop. Mining ETN with CPU/GPU is not profitable, because of the ASIC miners. But after the fork at the end of this month, it will become profitable. It is profitable to install and "mine" with the Electroneum mobile mining app. There is already more than 132'000 miners on the mobile app.

At the moment, Chinese companies are already developing a special phone designed for mining some crypto-currencies.
Well that is an interesting news, i would appreciate an update on that.  Can you give me the website to check that news out so i can see. It will really be cool. Mining with phone has one major flaw, it makes your phone lag. I hope the tech can handle that

I'm not sure that this really works. The power of the phones is not enough to wind up good money on the mining. And if everyone starts using phones for mining, it will not lead to anything good.

Phone miners are somehow unrealistic because of hardware issues. Well there is the electroneum miner that allows users to mine with their phones, not real mining though just gifting

Knowing how the wear and tear on machinery when mining. I think we'll get tired of changing phones to mine something substantial.

Mining on your cell phone is very difficult, which will damage your cell phone battery. And I think the calculation of mobile phones is limited, so you can only get very low returns.

Would be nice. it is checked that earnings sensible will turn out . low power in mobile phones and highly heated processor thus consumes the resource of the phone . one word is not relevant

It's a great idea since mobiles are the most widely used devices however, They don't have the requirements needed to run mining. Electronuem attempted to change that but they only built a glorified minergate app. The mobile device doesn't actually mine the coins, It's a virtual dashboard kinda operation. Mining requires ton of energy and mobile can't offer such.

I think it will not happen, as you can see many mining rigs have used vga as a minimum requirement to mine altcoin and can not run on mobile devices. If it could happen then it would be a utopia

For me It seems to me that this is just a waste of time. I think that mobile phones are not designed for mining. Those projects promising profit mining with mobile phones are just scamming people. Just not feasible.

I think this idea is not feasible. Mining with a mobile phone may be convenient, but it will take a long time and have a low success rate.

Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?
Well absolutely yes because it is much easy compare to the computer and it only occupy a small space and low energy and it is very applicable to everyone but the weakness of this kind of idea is the type of cellphones because not all of us can buy high end cellphones but compare to a computer it is much cheaper because it only consume small amount of energy.

Nope. Mining requires alot of computational power, ain't gonna have my phone heat for nothing exhausting the processor. There are android miners for Coinhive (Monero mining).
