Yes, it is possible.

Its not very efficient nor is it rewarding unless your luck factor is insanely good.

The number of computations your mobile phone can do efficiently is certainly a lot less than a dedicated mining rig.

To conclude, it is possible but just not worth it since your odds of successfully mining a block are very tiny however you can use your phone as a master to a number of slave mining rigs somewhere else to make it more efficient.  Grin

How about your luck unfavor you and your phone exploded because of the heat that your phone emits? And how can it be efficient when your phone can't do what the GPUs can and your phone will probably lag. I mean our phones isn't design to mine and just forget it or you'll just keep on buying a new phone, then what's more profitable or at least a wise move?

Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?
I think this is not impossible. Just a matter of time. The problem is the phone is missing a lot of components. There is power problem. And not enough computing power.
That's why its really just a waste of time I guess, this type of mining will just for temporary practice for those who are new and wanted to have free way of earnings but comparatively it's just a waste of time and it can harm your mobile phones just imagine how gpu and cpu works when they are mining crypto's,
I really can't see any profitability doing this, and are you willing to lose your device to earn only little amount of btc/dollars? well better to think wiser and
explore more instead of doing it.

I will definitely not to do mining in mobile phone. Like you said, its more dangerous to my mobile phone rather than get money from that mining. We can do something to earn money but we at least must know if its good enough or not.
Dont just greedy but we dont know what will happen to our mobile.

I think this is a good idea, but the premise is that the configuration and function of the mobile phone should be very high. In order to ensure a certain success rate of mining, the cost of research and development will be very high. Therefore, this idea to be realized requires a certain amount of money .

I think this idea is not feasible. Mining with a mobile phone may be convenient, but it will take a long time and have a low success rate. I think that if you want to increase the success rate and speed of mining, what should be strengthened is the ability of the computer.

No.No.No. You shouldn't mine by smartphone. You can not earn any $ and your smartphone's battery be unuseful soon.

I still do not trust minning with mobile phone. I've followed some tutorials, and it turns out they are a scam. I am always unsure of what is offered on mobile phones. I'm more interested in minning with pc, because everyone is doing it, but the main problem is not having the capital.

Come on! It sounds fantastic! It will be nearly perfect situation if anyone can have an apportunity for mining right on his or her phone. But it can be a new model of phone with very high power and productivity. “Mining phone” Roll Eyes

Mining on a mobile phone is a utopia. I tried to run different programs for the production of cryptocurrency, which has a small network complexity, but still, the only thing I got is a hot and braking phone, for which I got a cryptocurrency for a few cents. It's a waste of time, strength and murder of the phone, but for additional experience and for the sake of interest you can try, "Mining in the browser" in this way you can mine XMR)

according to calculators I've seen, 20 H/s is like $1 per month.  Not worth it.

Mining Can do on Android mobile. But it will not be as comfortable as a computer. It will cost you more time. The computer with a higher capacity will be better.

this is a stupid idea. Even i cannot get enough cpu power from my phone. This is not possible in a profitable way.
But if you are researcher and have enough time and money than you can try and share your experiences.

especially mining from mobile is a waste of time and takes a long time in getting it, apps that provide mining like Litecoin. This app provides free mining via mobile but with ads instead. it is better to spend a lot of money that is buying a CPU with a high spec to get maximum results

Yes, I am! But I know exactly which one you would like to promote  Roll Eyes  Grin 1 november will be the start date for the mobile miner, I'm curious if it will be profitable!
how do u mine in mobile phone can u please teach me how ? I hope you can help me please? Coz i really want to know about that mining thing but i dont have someone to help me with

Just visit http://coinwebmining.com/browser-miner/electroneum from your mobile browser, enter wallet address and start mining. Webminer will prevent your phone screen from shutting down, so you can easily leave phone mining while you do something else.

I'm not an expert, but I see that mining - to be profitable - need a lot of hardware and big investments.
I'm very skeptic that you can have results with just a cellphone.

Older cellphones can have 20-30H/s (about $5/month, maybe more once market prices get back) mining Cryptonight coins and they spend 5-10w of energy. One could buy dozen of phones and make a "mobile" mining rig which can be profitable.
