Despite it being a difficult process and a lot of work I believe that we will be able to use phones for mining. Now phones can do almost everything, why not?

What's the point? Why not just use a PC? Besides it would take one strong phone to keep it sustainable.

I think it's ridiculous but, if it happens the project will get faster with everyone who has the phone they have

If this thing will be happened, many if us will be interested to mine also in our mobile phones, but i think mining in mobile phones are far from computer mining, because mining uses high amount of electricity to generate it and mobile phones cannot last longer to that situation

Mining is such a very intense and capital intensive! You have to know exactly what you are doing when you want to mine. Mining activities will require that you are healthy physically in order to set up your rig and metally capable in other for you to mine profitable algo akl the time. Mining on mobile phone will be limited and your mobile may fry!

This is an interesting thing because it can use mobile for mining, of course we will get big result because maintenance cost and electricity is very low when compared with mining special equipment like nowadays.

Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?
Have! I am very interested in exploiting information from mobile phones. I am very interested in their features. Even join bitcoin. Because my home is not connected to the computer, it is in the countryside so I often use the phone to search for information. And it is really useful and convenient to me.

For Bounty Hunters, Don't Cheat or You DIE!!

If it is possible, i will do that. But, seems like it impossible to do. You need mainframe hardware to mining, and Mobile Phone works as their performance for portable device. But, maybe i am wrong about that, but need more research to implements it

I'm not sure that would be the greatest of ideas, staking is PERFECT for phones, if only the phones could fit the blockchain on to be able to stake, unless there is a way to shrink and compact the blockchains or simply make expanding mobile storage easier/cheaper, it would be great, but mining, i don't see it being profitable or useful, it would hammer the CPU and make multitasking a task in itself, which phones are notorious for, multitasking. :3

It is impossible to mine in mobile phone because the components of the mobile phone is not enough to solve the mathematical problems that bitcoin has and get some rewards. I think that those applications that promoting that they can mine in mobile phones are sort of virus or malwares that will infect and stole some data on your phone.

I think it is an interesting idea and could potentially work on newer devices.

i am pessimistic about this. factories don't create phones for the purpose of mining.
it won't be effective, you spent too much with too little profit

This sounds great. A good idea if it could effectively work.
mining on mobile gives you small hashes
but if you have a mining hardware and want to control it its better you use minergate on your mobile

I can't you can mine in mobile in a profitable way. Mining needs to have a good gpu setup for you to mine large number of profits. Since mobile phone only have not that good gpu like mining rigs as of today, your phone might only just damage the gpu of the mobile phone.

Interesting if there is a way to use a smartphone with Android and iOS platforms as a Bitcoin miner. The question is whether the current high-end smartphone specs are qualified enough? Not to mention the power and battery quality of the smartphone also needs to be questioned. While experimenting with the ARM Cortex-A9 CPU on the Samsung Galaxy SII capable of 1.3 MHash / s. By using the combined mining, on the current difficulty level, I get about 0.00000012 BTC / Wk. I do not think there is currently a mobile device that is really worth using to mine Bitcoin, if there is spare time maybe I will experiment with Samsung Galaxy S9 or iPhone X.  Grin Grin

i think using mobile phone to mine cryptos is a stupid idea, first it can kill your phone easily because your phone have to work 24/7, secondly your mobile phone dont have high performance, so they can generate small amount of bitcoin a mount, and finally smartphone battery will be drainaged quickly and charging countinously, so it is inconvinient unless you have thousand of smartphones.

I don't think you can do big mining with just a mobile. And you'll destroy the battery.
