Mining is no more profitable. There are big companies like a Bitmain who invest million of dollars to mining farms, can you compete with them? i dont think so. So better is invest and buy Bitcoin than invest into mining rigs and mine.

You can mine Dash with non-ASIC devices, such as XFX 7990 (21.8 Mh / s), SAPPHIRE R9 Nano (20 Mh / s), GIGABYTE R9 390 (14 Mh / s).

Among the other currencies to be mined, Litecoin is still a possibility. You must have at least two high-performance graphics cards. It is possible to use the ASIC Scrypt for better profitability.
Litecoin is going through tough times at the moment but it is a good coin and I still believe it is a bright future.

Mining in our time has become not profitable. Many of my friends are trying to sell their video cards at very low prices, but there are very few buyers. In addition, the largest manufacturers of equipment for mining refuse to continue to work in this direction.

Is it worth mining any more? if so - which is the most profitable coin?
Mining is not really a profitable business if you don't have enough money to purchase the expensive mining machines. If you decide to just use your phone or computer, you will be wasting your precious time.

Unless you have specific gear and low electricity, it's not profitable to mine. And it hardly ever was.

People who mined 30 btc for month in an old laptop were mining without any profitability. But they were luck and visionaries, and if they were able to hold they made millions.

It's better to use the money you would spend with electricity and hardware directly in buying coins. Make some DCA techniques, buying a few every month..

Since you posted this question in the Alt section, I would assume it is not about bitcoin mining. In some cases mining may still be profitable, at least some people claim that. But it is not as profitable as last year this time, that is certain. I stopped my small GPU mining experiment because of it not being profitable any more. Maybe if you can afford to try with specialised ASIC mining on the Equihash algorithm, I have no idea. As you may see for yourself, the entire altcoin sector is free falling. If  you have confidence that there are some alts that are going to recover when the market becomes bullish again, pick some of them and start mining.

Yes, without ASIC mining now is not profitable. Even NVIDIA decided in the next quarter to stop the production of chips for minig.
