Is there any effort being made to brand these or create a valuable secondary market for these in general?
What do you mean by "effort being made to brand these"?
I think there already is a healthy secondary market for these BTCC Mint coins/bars/chips.
thanks,
Bobby
So now I'm a bit confused. He meant if you sold the company to someone else, how would they continue to brand stuff....
Did you sell the company or not, because you are still using the name.
Edit - you just replied to this guys post which is well over a year old too...
Yes, I did reply to that guys post from over a year ago. (as I only saw his question recently when browsing this thread.)
However, my post got deleted by the moderators. Weird.
To answer your question:
Yes, I did sell BTCC in early 2018.
For the first 6-8 months, they still had me help them with BTCC Mint as Coinmaker. However, towards the end of 2018, they abruptly closed down the BTCC Mint division, and got out of the physical bitcoins business altogether.
And now, I have my new startup called Ballet. It's a different company, and a different brand.
We are NOT using the same BTCC Mint name. However, I do at times make references to BTCC Mint as it's legitimately what I worked on from 2016-2018. So I do talk about my experiences from BTCC Mint, and the my legacy there.
thanks,
Bobby
