What is the backup pool address? I see the tor address but I am not familiar with mining via tor.

if you go to the backup you can access you member name . So if you were planning on withdrawing say the NMC you earned or the DEV you can still do so.
mmpool isn't the only one being attacked either - btcdig's been having issues as well. Last week I think F2Pool was being attacked. Good luck slaying the attacker - or just weathering the attack.

Some people just like to see pools crash I guess. Just a reminder that mining and viewing stats is available on backup1.mmpool.org and phkttm64gbquasaq.onion. The latter is the best option if possible since it's harder to DoS.

So the pool is profitable now?
It's hard to tell since variance is huge in low hash rate pools. With a block a month it should clear the costs of running the servers. The easiest way to tell the current direction of profit is to look on the statistics page and see if the Reserve value is going in the right direction.
There is a DoS attack ongoing on the pool at the moment. The IP has been null routed by my service provider. You should be able to continue to mine on the backup domain and on the tor address.
There is zero chance he/she lost/loses 14.59 BTC operating the pool. If so, I have a bridge I will sell to the pool op..... 
The pool is overall running at a loss but this is due to past pool parameters. Mostly:- The pool was entirely PPS. In runs of bad luck it racks up losses pretty fast. The current profit/loss counter was reset when the pool switched to DGM but it still went to a loss due to the other reasons below
- The pool used to pay out orphans. It had a bad run due to connectivity issues and a bug which the pool paid out on as it wasn't the miners fault
- Even with DGM bad luck can result in a greater than 25BTC payout. DGM parameters used to be that the payout could be up to 35BTC. They've since been adjusted so the range is less wide. This was done when the PPS portion of the pool reward was enabled
Most of this was before my time as main admin of the pool.

27.59 BTC is way more than normal block.
Does that mean that DGM estimate will change when we find a block ?

What problem is this? if it's the BIP 66 switchover issue that a couple of pools had then mmpool didn't have a problem there.edit: Another question. how to fix the difference betweem (dgm + pps) and real reward?
