Due to mmpool 's choice to support UNO i regret I will no longer be able to mine here.

Coins that have developers who are people who's actions in public border on criminal activity are nothing I can support. Best wishes for future success.

if i have to explain this to you further , you either have not been paying attention to the whole scene.
and yes you can just not be paid in a coin by not putting in an address however your mining hash power is still helping to secure the network

The funniest part is when he discusses how he is going to spend a better part of summer months changing his code updating checkpoints.  lol

When i update a checkpoint in a coin it takes me longer to recompile and test the client (usually about an hour or so and I am over paranoid) than to code the checkpoint which literally takes about a minute.


It was suggested to me this individual was an fbi informant in the past -- could be.

Could be just another scammer. 

Certainly not a friend of bitcoin or altcoins. 

A shill for the enemies of bitcoin ?  ripple ?  maybe working for banksters to create confusion ?

I guess a guy going to conventions tweeting photos of himself with others and stating that if you don't do the same you have 'something to hide' is a little suspect.

My hash rate to mm pool is so small my leaving is not going to have any effect at all on the pool.

I have the highest respect for mmpool for his work.

The choice that he has added uno to his pool will probably keep the coin alive.

This pool has always got a few hundred ths on it while uno at times in the past could likely have been 51% taken out by someone with a handful of s4 and s5's.

Battle Coin does not look like it can be merge mined. It would require this to be implemented by the coin developers.

so it is just about a 1.1 percent boost to your income.

I have also put a little smaller than Phillip's hash on mmpool in interest of the UNO MM. I also put a couple on xpool.ca for the same reason.

The DGM carries a much higher part in the "normal" mining at mmpool. I am curious how it ends up.

What do you think the price of uno will do to not only the price of the coin, but the hashrate at pools like mmpool?
Will the "bigger" pools like elgius, slush, ant, all start carrying an alt with a good value?

I am using Linux but I don't think my binary will run on other systems due to differences in dynamically loaded library versions, etc. I could try and do a static build. @ mmpool : Are you using a Linux system for your pool software? If so, would it be possible for you to upload a copy of your Unobtaniumd for the many users who are still waiting for BW to implement the fix you kindly created to fix the merge mining defect?

Unobtanium is now in trial on the pool. All users have mined at least once since 2015-03-01 have had an unobtanium address assigned to their account and are accumulating coins now. These cannot currently be withdrawn. Contact [email protected] or the other contact methods with an unobtanium address to get the default address changed. Withdrawal will then be enabled.

The merge mining was unfortunately broken. I document a fix here that I confirm works. I'll do a bit more testing then add to the pool officially.

Last price is .011 btc. Price has been very stable over the past year. Check the YOY chart on cryptsy.
Uno also trades on Bittrex, Cryptopia,  and other exchanges.

Uno's cap is around $550k, larger than most of the other mm coins. It started in 2013 and is very much alive with an active community.  It hangs around the #30 spot on coinmarketcap.
