just thinking out loud but i suggest we forgo the swap, if it means losing cryptopia. Seriously in 2018 i think topia will be a goldmine like bittrex. just my 2 cent.
i been a long time holder of moin but not post here before but i watch here a lot to see updates. i agree with you about this because cryptopia is very important exchange for moin, most trading for moin is on there. i not understand why there needs to be a coin swap at all because moin is doing good without a need for a coin swap. Can't the dev make the current coin work in with the platform?
I understand people's concerns with this and that is why I brought it up once the announcement for a coin swap was posted because I have seen with other coins such as Pie coin FootyCash and Solaris that they all needed to pay for a relisting fee once they had their coin swaps. Solaris is yet to be relisted but my point is that the listing is now way too expensive for a Cryptopia listing. However on the bright side we could always try and get MOIN listed on other exchanges like DEX exchanges as I believe they are the future to crypto trading.
Totally agree with you. I would also maybe suggest Shapeshift. The reason why I think this would be good is that new people entering crypto are using Shapeshift a lot since it is implemented within Exodus, Jaxx and similar wallets which seem to be popular with people who want to hold many coins inside one wallet. I personally use Exodus and love it (simple, beautiful UI, support is best in crypto). Would be interesting to see Moin there. I believe DEX will be used by more experienced users but newcomers will probably use Coinbase and wallets like Exodus
