I really like the new look MOIN website! I'll be sure to spread the news on Twitter about the website. That's right KingCaper buy MOIN and Hodl for the long term. Oh and don't forget to stake lol while we wait for new developments, I really think 2018 will be the year for MOIN as this year has been a break out year for the coin as a lot more has been done and the price has gone from a few hundred sats to over 4k sats so it has been a great year for the coin. Keep up the good work dev and team!

Riot Room

The way the crypto community embraced Slack has never really sat right with me. For the last few weeks the dev team has been using Riot and though it's still a little rough around the edges, it's proven to be a more than capable open source alternative. There are bridges between IRC, Slack and Riot so whichever one you choose you won't miss out on anything. But I recommend giving Riot a go:

Fortnightly Updates

Although I quite enjoy doing it, I spend a disproportionate amount of time writing these updates. So in keeping with our new laser-like focus on efficiency, the fortnightly updates will henceforth be brought to you by our trusty Community Manager Jookly, who I've no doubt will do a splendid job keeping you all informed. In the mean time, I will be coding and vetting developers.

I've seen a few posts on Reddit lately... words of wisdom from crypto "old-timers" - guys who've been around for 2 or 3 months dispensing their sage investment advice to the noobs. Often it's just a thinly veiled advertisement for one of this week's ICOs. Anyway, long ago a wise man gave me a little piece of advice. Over time, it came to change my life. It can be summed up in four short words...

That's great to hear you are getting that many stakes as it hasn't changed much since I was at that amount staking. I really try as much as I can to bring exposure to MOIN on Twitter, I do get a few likes and re-tweets but not as many as I would like to see. However the impressions are always over 1k so the tweets I make do reach a fair few people which I hope brings in a few. Once the platform is released I will be promoting MOIN as much as I can to get the word out. All good things come to those that wait and that's what I think we have here with MOIN.

If you're going to be staking 24/7 (like you should) and can't use a PC at home, you can get a windows VPS pretty cheap and do it that way. Also pays for itself if you're staking Moin and other POS coins.

Agree with Vella. I have a little over 11K Moin staking 24/7 and there are times when I get back from work and only have 3-4 stakes then other times I'll see 10 stakes. It definitely pays for itself and considering the current prices it's easy to load up on Moin and stake it. Moin has a good team and the only real downfall is that it's not getting enough exposure in the community. I envision the closer KingCaper gets to his final product the more attention this project will get and it will snowball effect from there.

I think I can chime in and give an estimate amount of MOIN you will earn daily on a certain number of coins you have staking. On 10k MOIN staking you will average around 5 to 10 MOIN coins per day, remember this is just an estimate. And when I say this it doesn't mean that is the stakes per day but coins because its 1.45 coins stake reward so 4 stakes a day is over 5 MOIN coins per day and sometimes you could get more stakes depending on the network weight at the time you are staking, that is why its best to try and stake 24/7 as you can earn more stakes that way and also help support the MOIN network. I hope this helps some more and the more MOIN you have staking the more you will earn, I just did 10k as an example.

The PoE system doesn't perform the same function as PoS and so it does not produce any additional reward itself.  What PoE does is allow a person to register the existence of a file, and thereby have a verifiable time stamped record of its registration retrievable through the blockchain.  Hope that helps you to understand.  Thanks for the question and great to hear the staking is working well for you.

The stake rate is 10% a year.

I am not exactly sure where the cut off would be between receiving a stake daily versus less often than that, maybe someone else will know and chime in.

Wow that's super cool Ilog! That would certainly be really cool if we could somehow expand the idea of Moin Sports. That's a great idea and so happy that it went well. Always a great thing to introduce new people to cryptocurrency and specifically Moin!

LOL... well we must have the same taste in coins or we know which hidden gems to invest in just like what we have here, MOIN a hidden gem that will one day come out to shine. I tweet about MOIN often but I never seem to get much response from other users, well I have got a few people in MOIN but still I would like to see more joining this great community and buying some MOIN coins.
