Okay so even with the new wallet, transactions are taking forever to confirm. It's been over an hour with no confirmations yet. Is this normal?

Yes, that is possible but not our objektive. Can you send me your Debug.log? Can you deinstall your local
Installation with my deinstaller? After than install fresh and make a test.

The version 90000 is to old for the current version. The minimum is 90001 now. The old version makes many trouble and set the local installation in a fallback modus.

Okay I installed it. It's now stuck on the dashboard screen (Not Responding) CPU usage is fluctuating between 13% to 25% (1 to 2 cores). It's been about 10 minutes. I'll let it do it's thing until I get back home.

Edit: Finally became responsive. Will the unconfirmed transactions now resolve themselves, or are there any other steps I need to do?

Try the flag  -zapwallettxes=1 by wallet start. This remove wrong txs from your wallet.dat.

Okay, that cleared all my previous unconfirmed transactions. Just sent a new transaction which is still unconfirmed. I'll report back in about 30 min.

I have write a installer for windows os. This installer replace your complete local installation (wallet.dat is safe). Try it..if you have a problem then use the deinstaller and install new. The installer can overwrite your local mojocoin.conf (recommend). Installer is with chain!

Thanks. I'll try that later when I have time. Do my masternodes need to be updated as well, or just the control wallet?
The update is mandatory. The installer is only for end user or safe your mojocoin.conf before.

Is there some sort of trick people are using to send coins? None of my transaction attempts seem to be getting confirmed. I think I remembered a workaround for it.

Updated my wallet to v2.4 and lost 147000 coins.  Was there a swap as well?  What is the deal?

It would be useful with some further information on this. What address(s) did you have the coins in? In the first instance, try to do a -dumpprivkey for the addresses with the funds and then see, and then import it back and rescan. See if that works, if not let me know.

Have you checked the block explorer for the addresses? Your funds wouldn't be lost...

Tried the following, coins still not loading into wallet.  Coins still exist on block chain.

1) Rescan
2) Rebuild blockchain
3) Rebuild wallet and import priv keys

A Wound in Eternity

i just noticed the OP links the old version of the mojocoind resulting in the glibcxx error.

also, if anyone is interested
i had call to download the mojocoind to a command line vps, to do so i used

wget --no-check-certificate 'https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0B5j8d4FSc7draEgwc0pYa2dXTkk' -O mojocoind

Nothing for bad, bumbacoin...
You should only install software from official sources

Smiley
i built them both,
my first effort at building it resulted in an error :p this non-working version was/is listed on the OP,
i updated that version a few pages back, but the OP has not been updated to link to that version i mention.

i agree, that a link in thread is not the best place to get seomthing from, so i hope EBK1000 updates the OP

hehe this post should perhaps make more sense coming from this account Wink

Sorry, I will update the OP shortly
