Does this mean that Masternode block rewards will become significantly higher as of block 84,000?
Yes, the PoS value was set wrong in v.2.1 and 2.2 so that wallets only got 1.5%, this has been increased to 20% so MNs will get 50% of all stake reward on the network. This then means that a "normal' wallet will get 10%, so if you stake 100,000 MOJO, you should get around 10,000 MOJO annually.
Will the required MN balance remain at 20,000 MOJO per MN? (And thanks for the clarification. I'm getting more MOJO)

Is it stille mandatory to set staking=0 on the masternode / controller wallet or dies masternode=1 protect the colateral on the masternode / controller wallet ?

If you have private key, just delete crashed the wallet.dat file. Then open the wallet again. It will create a new wallet.dat file. Then use importprivkey command to import the private key. Once it syncs, you will get your balances.
